This hotel rated as 4/5 Stars with grand lobby, yet very bad laundry service at 10F with only one Washer and Dryer (broken too).
Also, window air lock is poor (noise leak) and broken phone. Office chair broken (sinking) too.
Room size is small and outdated.

The hotel and room was excellent. The only thing is that I don’t understand why they didn’t pick up the trash we put to leave. But besides that everything is a 10/10

Although the Excel Hotel has been around for quite some time, it is still a very efficient hotel situated near to the Chongqing North Railway Station South Square. Commuting by subway and train is very easy. However, some of the fixtures need repair and maintenance. The reception staff are very helpful. I made an error with my reservation and I explained how the error occurred. They accepted my explanation and allowed me to cancel the last night of my reservation with full refund!

Great hotel for price range and good walking distance from train station and metro station. Only 20 minutes from most places we travelled to by car which is also good. Only downside (for me) is that they didn’t have a western breakfast option.
