RuQing Homestay (Chongqing Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street Hong Ya Dong)

Good for the price. We stayed just one night. The location is very good, close to the subway and the street is very lively. The room was okay. The bed was wide and comfortable. The bathroom was quite tiny with a low ceiling. It had some hangers, the hair dryer, towers, tissues, and toiletries. It lacks water bottles though. The building itself is a little creepy, we had to wait for an eternity for the elevator but the owner can't do much about it. It was also a little noisy. We checked in before coming via WeChat and never met anyone since there is no front desk. A good place to stay for a couple of nights if you don't want to spend time at the hotel.

The stay was lovely. We stayed on the 28th floor, which had an amazing view. The only problem is the lift and entrance, which look sketchy, but the owner has no control over it, and it is still safe. The owner is so friendly, he used wechat to communicate so there was not much of a communication barrier. The rooms are also neat. It was a lovely stay. Thank you.

Excellent for a few days. The building itself is scary, but overgo this and you will spend a good time in Chongqing, even if I personally think the city is uninteresting

Location is excellent! Only a few minutes from bus and metro stations. Lots of shopping and food, and close to all the tourist stops. Room is cleaned well, bed linens fresh and clean, and all amenities well-stocked. Excellent stay!

Very nice stay. It's a shame that there are only 2 elevators and there's always a big line to wait.

The room is perfect 👌 location is fine. The only bad thing is that it's peak season, which means the building is full. Last night, there was a huge line of more than 100 metres of people waiting to take the elevator. This was at 23.30. We had to take the stairs (our room was on the 28th floor, imagine that). But, the line was too slow, so we had no option because we had to take a train early in the morning and needed to sleep. The rest was fine. I'd recommend this place but not in peak season.
