Jiahui Hotel (Monument to the people's Liberation Branch, Chongqing)

An Absolutely Stellar Stay with Unbeatable Views My stay at the Jiahui Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the incredible location to the outstanding service, it was a highlight of my trip to Chongqing. First and foremost, the location is perfect. Nestled in the traditional downtown area, you are right in the heart of the action. It's within easy walking distance of major attractions, and a huge bonus is that it's located right by the first Chongqing elevator—a unique local landmark that was not only fascinating to see but also incredibly useful for getting around the hilly terrain without a sweat! The attention to detail and service from the hotel staff was outstanding. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and easy to communicate with, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Now, for the room! I was fortunate to be given a corner room, and it was magnificent. Full of natural light from multiple angles, it created a wonderfully bright and airy atmosphere. The view was simply breathtaking: one window offered a stunning panorama of the mighty Yangtze River, while the other looked out over the vibrant cityscape of Chongqing. Waking up to that every morning was a real treat. A modern surprise was the huge 6V screen in the room. While I was so busy exploring the city that I never had the chance to use it, it’s a fantastic high-tech amenity that would be perfect for anyone looking to unwind with a movie in style. I cannot recommend the Jiahui Hotel highly enough. It offers a perfect blend of traditional Chongqing charm and modern comfort. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit! This is an ideal base for explorers who want to dive into the authentic, bustling heart of Chongqing while having a peaceful haven to return to.

Great location close to metro, and night market, plenty of shops nearby. Hotel it's on the 3rd floor, no elevator air conditioning working well. Room had strong smell of cigarretes, and was a lil bit dirty.

Good accomodation in the city center. Not so easy to find,on the 3nd floor, close to the restaurant.

Location is great staff was not very helpful at times and the rooms were not super clean but it was alright

I have extended my stays 2 nights as I love the vibes there, feeling home. The receptionist is friendly and helpful.

The room was clean enough. It was a bit difficult to find the hotel because of city's specific but I did it. The main plus is the location, it's near the main pedestrian street. And staff was helpful and friendly.
