It was my first time to come to Chongqing, and I traveled with my girlfriend during off-peak hours. Chongqing's B&Bs vary in quality. I originally booked this one with the wrong idea, but the actual experience was unexpectedly good.
Facilities and hygiene: The entire facility is quite new, the tables, chairs and beds are quite clean, and the mattresses are moderately soft and comfortable. Disposable supplies are fully stocked, including towels, bath towels, toilet mats, and bath bags.
Surrounding environment: The location is very convenient. It is just downstairs from Exit 1 of Linjiangmen of Metro Line 2. It rained when we were leaving and I really realized how convenient the transportation is. The location is at Jiefangbei, and it only takes less than 20 minutes to walk to Hongyadong, Bayi Square, or Shibati. The view is also pretty good, our room can directly see the Chopsticks Tower
Hotel service: The customer service at the front desk is very considerate. It was 1 o'clock in the evening on the day of arrival and we were informed that we would check in first and then register the next day. Even if I send a WeChat message in the middle of the night, I’ll get a reply almost immediately.
The only negative thing is that the elevator on the building where the hotel is located is not very easy to wait in. There is nothing we can do about this and it is not the hotel's final say. The 4-day trip to Chongqing gave a good experience at least starting from the hotel.
