Property Description
英文版:Rushi River View — A Fiery Mountain City Hideaway Nestled in Ciqikou Chongqing, a city that simmers in the spicy broth of its riverside culture, reveals its pulsing heart at Rushi River View (hidden within Ciqikou). Perched along the Jialing River and embedded in the ancient town’s tapestry of a thousand years, this inn offers windows to roaring currents and doors to bustling humanity—distilling Chongqing’s fiery passion and tender soul into an intoxicating elixir. Passion Boils Over, Infused with Bayu Spirit Chili peppers seep through red-brick walls, Sichuan opera rhythms sway in lantern light, and a hearty “Yao de!” (Sure thing!) greets you in the lobby. Amidst the haze of aged tea, the air thrums with Chongqing’s unapologetic vigor. Staff, all local “encyclopedias,” guide you to hidden hole-in-the-wall hotpot joints, teach you to dissolve travel awkwardness with “Bu cunzai” (No worries), and describe life’s zest as “La de tiao” (Spicy enough to make you jump). Sleep by the River, Dream of Fiery Nights Rooms are splashed with “chili ink”—crimson pillows, bed curtains embroidered with Sichuan peppercorns, and nightlights shaped like nine-grid hotpot cauldrons. Even the curtains’ folds mimic the jagged contours of the mountain city. As night falls, cradle yourself in 270° river views, watching tour boats carve through inky waters while Hongyadong’s golden lights sparkle like scattered hairpins. The river wind carries boatmen’s chants, as if the scalding night is “awakening” you to Chongqing’s core. Rushi Moments: Immerse in Mountain City Warmth Morning Awakening: Follow the “spicy map” to a corner noodle stall, where chili oil clings to chewy alkaline noodles, paired with aged tea to ignite your Chongqing dawn. Afternoon Leisure: On the rooftop “Dialect Class,” laughter erupts at phrases like “Ni lang ge le ge ye” (What’s up with you?), revealing Chongqing’s humor in linguistic sparring. Night Revelry: Gather around the “Riverside Chat,” clinking glasses with travelers from afar over secret-recipe spicy chicken. Listen to the boss recount Ciqikou’s salt-merchant legends in peppery Mandarin, while laughter startles river gulls—even the wind feels “awakened” by the heat. Beyond Rushi: Ignite Your Adventures Stroll 3 minutes to Ciqikou’s main street, where tea masters wield long-spouted copper pots in the “Dragon’s Eighteen Movements,” brewing leisure into every sip. Hop on Line 2 for a 10-minute ride to Liziba Station—snap a photo with the train piercing the building, then unleash creativity on Eling Erchang’s graffiti walls, letting your social feed catch Chongqing’s fever. Book tickets through the inn for Impression Wulong, a canyon-set spectacle where river chants shatter stones, and纤夫 (boat trackers) carry the bloodline of Bayu’s resilience—feeling “awakened” by the mountain city’s soul. Rushi Reviews “The inn auntie’s enthusiasm is like freshly boiled maoxuewang (spicy hotpot)—her recommended noodles made me tear up from the spice but I couldn’t stop eating!” “The rooftop night view is epic! The river wind smells like mala, and I felt like Chongqing ‘awoke’ me into a piece of sizzling maodu (tripe)!” —Guests’ fiery testimonials are the footnote to Rushi River View’s passion. Here, Rushi is a vessel for Chongqing’s fervor— holding the river wind’s boldness, the neighbors’ candor, and the stories’ heat. Come be a “Chongqing kid” for a day, let the city’s smoky vitality “iron out” life’s creases, and turn every moment into a boiling hotpot!

Right in the middle of qicikou town, however too many steps and no parking is a minus when you bring heavy luggages even though the hotel staff can help carry some. Room is cozy, the family loft with stairs in the middle of the room is not convenient, always knock our head to the stairs, toilet smells.

Room is clean. The staff or the boss lady is very helpful. Just next to the old town shopping alley .

Right at river bank to ancient Ciqikou town. Need to walk about 200m, and some small steps. A good shop next door to buy cloth. Reasonable.

The facilities are old, with small bugs and spider webs. It is far from the light rail station and takes more than 20 minutes. There are many stairs, so if you have heavy luggage, you should be cautious if you choose to walk. Breakfast is in cooperation with the restaurant!

The location is by the river, but it's a bit of a walk from the exit. If you like a quiet environment and a river view, you can consider it. The environment is quite acceptable for this price. The food across the street is pretty good.

Transportation is a bit inconvenient, as it's at the end of Ciqikou. You have to walk a long way before you can get a taxi...

The cleanest riverside inn I've ever stayed in! The floor is dust-free, the toilet seat is spotless, and even the air conditioning filter is dust-free. The facilities are super new, including a toilet, elevator, washing machine, and ironing machine. The bathroom has separate wet and dry areas and a non-slip floor mat. Perfect attention to detail!
