XYA Xinya. High-altitude Quanjiang View Hotel (Chongqing Jiefangbei Hongyadong Branch)

The hotel is located at rooftop. It has the paranomic view and can take nice video in the city view. However, there is a setback - the lift stop at 29th Floor. Have to climb up to 30th floor. My advice is for those who have heavy luggage might be a bit difficult to handle. However, the hotel staffs are very friendly, they are always willing to help to carry the luggage for you. As an overall, still recommend to stay for a 2 to 3 days, because it is near to all the place of interests.

Located at the rooftop, nice view & good service. But the lifts can’t reach the hotels, have to walk 2 floor stairs. And the lifts are very bad condition & waiting time is too long & always full.

Spent 4 nights there. First two felt like a dream : this hotel is litteraly built on top of a 28 floors building, it’s like a real penthouse and the views of Chongqing are incredible. Bed was very comfortable, room are very recently renovated with heating and AC, shower had very hot water, everything was very clean and the people running this hotel were super welcoming and helpful. Location is also perfect, few meters from metro lines 1 and 6. Room on second floor enjoy the best view while those on first floor of this penthouse have a terrasse. The third night is when we had a few issues: with more guess, noise insolation showed it limits and we could hear some neighbors talking. Also, our AC unit started having problems in the middle of the night. Finally, we had a very light smoking smell as it seems people smoke inside their room (the room has an ashtray), which contradict the non smoking as advertised. But none of all of this was a dealbreaker for us, as it was all manageable level. To get to this hotel, you will need to reach the 28th floor, and then walk up the last stair to the 29th, where you will arrive at the reception. Make sure to tell them around what time you will arrive, as there isn’t always someone at the reception. All in all, we had a wonderful stay there and I greatly recommend it.

Great place! The owner is so nice and helpful. And we got a chance to see his shiba inu in one of the days. The room is clean, big, comfortable, great location. Nothing more I could ask for.

The service provided by the hotel owner is excellent. He carried all our luggages from the lift stop @ 28Floor to the Rooftop which is the 29th or 30th Floor where the rooms are located. He also provide invaluable advice on sightseeing matters that I find it very useful. However, the hotel is located inside a rather old mall and the condition inside, to me is not too pleasing. But nevertheless the rooms which we occupied are very clean as what you viewed on the website. The excellent service of the owner and the cleanliness of the room outweigh the rather disappointing condition of the mall. Since we are out most of the time and only back to the room only at night, we can tolerate that. There are also many hotels at different floors inside the mall.
