Family-friendly Hotels in Chongqing

This is a wonderful hotel with exceptional cleanliness, attentive service, and very welcoming hospitality from all the staff, especially Ms. Lemon at the front desk and the housekeeping lady on the 29th floor. Their friendliness made our stay very memorable. The location is centrally located and convenient to all the key tourist spots. We recommend ordering breakfast a day in advance to get a cheaper deal, instead of purchasing it online during hotel booking. The breakfast selection is amazing! If a heavy buffet breakfast isn’t your thing, there is a local morning grocery market nearby where you can find delicious meat buns and congee. Enter from the lane on the right side of the hotel.

The room is big and comfy, everything is good. And fast service when request drinking water and extra pillow. The location is at the 81 food srreet and also JIE FANG BEI. Will come back again

We are a pair of 70 year old couple travelling solo. This place is located centrally and it is easy to walk and travel around the Chong qing City from here.The place is really comfortable and smack of chinese tradtion and culture. The view of the river each night is stunning and you are a part of Hongyadong light up each night. I woke up thrice very early around 4am and went to the reception to ask about how to get around to different sights. On 5th and 6th Sep morning, the receptionist was utterly sweet and patient with this old lady, giving very careful and detailed information with explanations to help me. Thsnk you once again dear sweet recetionist. I am sorry u do not know your nsme. Hence the dates. Unfortunately on the morning of 7th Sep i encountered a rude shock of a receptionist who expressed rude mannerism on being awakened just before 5 am, reluctant to help, trying to push me off by pushing a tiny pamphlet that she said was self explanatory about diections for various sights. I declined saying i could not read chinese. Thereafter, it wa either, its difficult to get there or you could get there in a cab!

Beautiful hotel n views r spectacular esp at nite when the lights r up. Easy walking access to Honyadong n river walk. Excellent concierge service from staffs esp Baron who has a ready smile for everyone and always so helpful to ensure we get our taxi or Didi. Love the convenient location, to be just above Raffles City mall with lotsa food n entertainment options. Pier for the river cruises r also located here, so convenient!👍😍

The service was really good, the staff was really nice and always checked up on us for how we were doing. In addition, they provided us with free water and soft drinks within our room and offered to look after our luggage even when our flight was later at night. Overall I really do recommend staying here when in Chongqing.

The rooms are super clean, spacious and comfortable. Bed is comfortable and they provide free bottle of water. If require, can request from the hotels. Location is convenient and near subway and Jiefangbei. A lot of restaurants and shopping malls. The staffs are friendly and helpful in providing clear instructions and direction to travel to our destinations. They even help in recommending resturants around the area. Initially, we hired a transport car to and from airport, however with last monute was faced with issues. Sigh. Thanks the staffs who helped us last minute to hire cabs for us to travel to the airport just in time to catch our flights.

Review There are definitely Pros and Cons. Pros - location location location, very convenient, nearby tourist spots Jiefangbei, Hongyadong and shoppingmalls, great for shopping and cooling down in the hot summers. - Spacious rooms (family room) with eye for detail for the kid. A tent, slippers, kids toothbrush, etc. - Service, staff is very helpful, thinks with you. 前台小孫和客房蔣姐. - Free washing/cleaning service. In the morning you can bring the clothing (max 5 pieces) and in the evening you can pick it up. Cons - The building is old. It hosts about 10 different kinds of hotels. The Move is situated at the 20th floor. - The elevators are old, creaky. There are on a good day 3 elevators. On a bad day just 2 available. Waiting time can go up to 10 minutes. And the elevator will be very crowded. - everything is written in Chinese. You need to read and speak some Chinese. The staff is not use to English speaking tourists. - You will get a fine if you break or loose something. At least, a list of things and the price is shown in the room. For example a cup ¥30, the lights ¥300 or TV ¥3000. A tip: check if things work on the first day/hour. - There are in the night at the entrance floor lots of business cards for call girls. If you staying with kids, it’s actually not okay. - There is no privacy in the room, walking out of the shower, your partner (and kid) can see you naked. - There are lots of groups of light switches, in every corner. There is one master switch. If you use that one everything will be switched off, the lights including the airco. If you still want to have the airco working, you need to switch off all the different lights in every corner. Otherwise you might get sweaty in the middle of the night. - On the first day of our arrival, another guest complained that the photos on the website do not match with the room. I recommend that you look at the room first, in any case the reception is willing to help out (if rooms are available). - On the day of check out, the staff will ask/push you to give a (good) review. Be prepared.

This hotel is superb & Beyond what one can describe with words. The view from the loft room is something everyone must experience. This hotel deserves more to an 5 star rating, I’d definitely come again. Thanks a lot Jing Jing. Thought she was an AI Bot, lol she got answers to everything. Yall keep it up, till we see again.

Asiam Hotel is great. The location is not too far from metro station, a little bit of walking though. But the location is very good near the food street 好吃街. The room is very spacious, clean and the view is stunning. The room also comes with washing machine, a stove and microwave. However the filtered water tap was not working so it was a little disappointing. The front desk keep asking to take bottled water instead so I wondered if the filtered is not clean for drinking? The morning breakfast is well worth it. There are many choices to choose from, even have a Chongqing noodle counter that serve noodle or 抄手. The coffee is not strong enough, I wish the coffee beans could be better. The front desk is noticeably friendly and helpful. They will try their best to help, and even send me information about nearby attractions and food locations. Super good. Not the cheapest hotel around but I give a 5/5 star and highly recommend this hotel. Well done... if come back in the future I will stay here again...!!!

Chongqing Liangjiang Holiday Hotel, this is the second time I stayed in it for 4 consecutive nights this year. The room type I booked was a superior king-size bed room, but I didn't sleep well on the first night because the room was facing the street and the cars passing by at night were too noisy. I asked the hotel front desk to change the room. The next day, the manager Jiang Sha on duty at the front desk upgraded the room to a suite near the atrium, and handled the requests of the guests in a timely manner. Thank you so much! The TV remote control that was not working after the room change was also replaced very quickly. Although the hotel facilities are a little old, the service attitude and response efficiency are very high. From my personal experience, it is the best hotel in Chongqing, no one else. In addition, the geographical location is superior, it is very close to Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street, a popular check-in place, and the transportation is convenient. From a comprehensive evaluation, the hotel is very suitable for business trips and family travel, and I will choose to stay in the hotel next time.
