Very clean hotel, hearty breakfast, pleasant staff. I recommend

As far as I am concerned, the director was totally ungrateful, unpleasant and indifferent to our request. We arrived with a paid reservation invoice and supporting direct debit. But they refuse to give us access to the room because they say they need a “bank guarantee” (which is false because it was a pre-authorization, which means debiting/blocking me the amount of the room And not a bank guarantee, which is just taking the bank card numbers as we were assured.) Because the card provided by the platform was not passed, BUT IT HAD BEEN CHARGED. So we were refused access to the room as if we were thieves. I am then asked to be able to access the room that I must contact the platform myself, what world are we in?? I wonder, anyway... After 20 minutes of calling with the manager who made no effort on the phone I decided to contact Agoda. Fortunately I called (for her) otherwise we would never have had access to our room. PS: The Agoda platform confirmed to us that it was absolutely inappropriate and forbidden for management to refer a customer to them because it is with them that they work and not with us, that is what I I tried to make her understand on the phone but she didn't want to know anything. She preferred to enjoy her weekend I guess…

We enjoyed a comfortable room thanks to a Smartbox with a view of the castle and the Moine. The gourmet dinner was excellent as well as the breakfast, all you can eat and very varied. The spa is also an asset. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. A big thank-you.

I hesitated before posting a comment. my son and I came for one night to go on an excursion to Puy du Fou. We requested a twin room which we got. At our request is there a fridge in the room? No, not all of our rooms have a fridge, you must request it in advance. Eh? Knowing that the fridge is well mentioned on the general best western site. We arrive at the room, view of a wall. I return to reception and they explain to me that the superior room criterion does not apply to the view but to the surface of the room. Besides, I would have a view of the patio, I check, view of the roof of the garage, while doing gymnastics on the edge of the window, we see a mini piece of the patio. I return to reception and I am offered a room with a double bed, which does not suit our constellation. Then they explain to me that more and more hotels do not have fridges and that the hotel has received a green label. You can therefore, if you wish, put your fresh produce in the reception fridge. In one week I was in 3 Best Westerns, 1 Mercury and a more upscale hotel, all the hotels had fridges, Best Western included except this one. Finally a last minute cancellation allowed us to stay in another room with a view of the famous patio. Cc the breakfast, I had the impression of eating in a canteen, no charm, no decoration on the tables Positive points because there are some: Friendliness of the hotel staff, even if they try to have bladders taken for lanterns for certain things Parking on site I will however no longer set foot in this hotel, the wall view room was the straw that broke the camel's back
