Louis Paphos Breeze

We visited for the first time in May 2022, and were so impressed with everything about the hotel, that we came back again this year, for a longer break. Although we were quite late arriving, we still managed to grab a drink from the bar (open until midnight), some hot nibbles from the restaurant and there were also plates of sandwiches, water and a bottle of wine in the fridge. We were in block 9 last year and were delighted to be in the same block this year, in the room next door. You have a great view of the sea and spectacular sunsets here, and are close to the adults only pool and bar. The suite was clean and tidy, with a large walk in shower and lots of space. Only a little thing, but loo rolls were constantly topped up, thank you, and towels changed daily. The front terrace (we were ground floor) was perfect to sit and relax on, very spacious and a rail to dry pool clothes etc on. The majority of our holidays are AI, and food wise we consider this hotel to be probably the best we have been to. The restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful (thank you Maria V and George in particular), and were constantly checking that everything was ok and clearing away. All of the bar staff were lovely and you never had to wait more than a few moments to be served. The cleaning and maintenance staff were bright and cheerful saying good morning as they worked and did an excellent job of keeping everything clean and tidy. The grounds are beautiful and a credit to those who keep them so well maintained. The entertainment team must be exhausted at the end of the season, as they work non stop, with something for everyone, if you want it, but no pressure if not. Will we be back? Definitely. Only one comment - there are lots of beautiful cats and kittens on the site, which most guests loved to see and fuss, and feed, but as none of them are neutered or spayed, they are multiplying. How about a donation system to provide them with proper food and vet treatment, including ensuring they are all done?

Amazing hotel, very clean, lots of space and the food is excellent too. They operate a shuttle down to the harbour which we used a couple of times, but also close enough if you enjoy a walk too. The staff were friendly and very attentive, couldn’t fault anything. If you want to get away to relax, enjoy the sun, along with the great food that Cyprus has to offer, then this is the place to stay. Highly recommended.

Cyprus is beautiful and the hotels location is great. The rooms were spacious, clean with a short distance to the restaurant and pool. The food was varied and excellent and the highlight amongst many is the staff who are friendly and helpful.

From our arrival to our leaving, we were made to feel special. Chris, outside bar, always remembered our names and drinks from day one. The sunbeds around the pools have got to be the thickest most comfortable ones I've ever seen and used. The bed in our unit was so comfortable, we both slept extremely well. The food? Well, we have one word, amazing! Selection, freshness & variety second to none. Though this is a child friendly hotel, for those wanting some peace and quiet, there is an adult only pool where all you can hear are the lapping waves of the med. We will definitely be making a return visit.

We returned for our 4 th visit the three previous visits were before the awful pandemic- we found the experience great - I guess most hospitable of hotels are to some extent still recovering and as such we will return next year without fail and see what possible strides have been taken

We have just returned from a lovely break! The staff in the hotel were so friendly. The food was great, with so many choices. I particularly liked the fresh salads, omelettes, bread and we were lucky enough to sample the Mezze restaurant, with excellent service from Ireni. Maria on reception was so kind and professional, helping us to move to a more convenient room. We would also particularly like to thank Kris and Irene for bringing us our drinks and chatting to us and Vladimir the barman for making us special drinks similar to Aperol Spritz with Orpheus Bitter. George the shuttle driver also provided great entertainment for our trips to Paphos. We really like the location outside of Paphos with the beautiful walk along to coast to get there. We also loved the pool by the sea, it is great it is adults only, it made it so peaceful to relax there on the amazing sun-beds, the best I have experienced anywhere!

My wfe and I have just retruned from a wonderful week in Paphos. This is a top quality hotel in an excellent location. We profoundly enjoyed every single day of our stay. There is much that can be and has been said about this hotel; I would just like to praise the staff. It was wonderful to see how a great and a skilled team worked together to make our stay an excellent experience. There was Nonna, the omlette cooker, who managed to make a most fantastic omelette within a minute. It was a pleasure to watch her do her job every morning. There was Spiridon who despite his progressed age served the guests with diligence and a constant smile on his face. There were Elina, Margarita and Angelina, three Ukranian ladies, who very obviously enjoyed their job of serving unjtil late in the evening. Most of all we were impressed by Maria, the Food and Drinks Supervisor, who is an exceptional manager with much professionalism and who guides her entire team with support, encouragement and maximum knowledge. She seemed to be the soul and heart of the crew. Sadly we missed her on the last two days of our stay.

we stayed in room 113, and the balcony had the sun all day, found the grounds excellent and was lovely to lay on the sunbeds opposite the sea. food was plentiful, and always found something to eat, the reception area is quite small, and lacks a little general store for emergencies but you can get the free bus into the harbour or mall 4 times a day free of charge. special mention to Irene who worked tirelessly round the pool area, day and night bringing you drinks, and Vlad the buggy driver who would collect you from your room and take you up to the amenities just by calling reception. slight criticism was we only found out on the last day where the indoor pool was! as there are no signs to it. they appeared to have been under some kind of audit, as a number of suited gents were highly prominent in the restaurant for a couple of days, but there or not the restaurant staff are very attentive. we will be back, but would probably hire a car next time.

Our third time to Louis Paphos Breeze, not counting overnight stays and separate bookings for family for times we were staying at the hotel. We were so thrilled to see Maria F&B manager on arrival. Her warmth and hospitality is what guests appreciate and we thought what a great start to our holiday. Unfortunately she was no longer around at the end of our stay and she was missed by us and other guests too. No doubt it’s a great hotel but there has been a change this year and not for the better! Indoor pool meant to be heated - last year and the year before it was warm and heated as advertised. This year both I and fellow guests complained about the pool temperature. It was not heated the first 2 days we were there. On some days warm, others not. Frustrating to have to ask to have heated. The pools outside are as expected quite cold so this is a draw to the hotel. No pool bar this year. (The top pool bar by the main hotel) The restaurant was also not opened - not sure when it will be. Last year around the main pool - there was a drinks service. Other than the lovely Irene late in the afternoon no such service. Plastic cups left for hours and not collected. I took ours to the room and washed and binned. The main bar - they struggled to understand the drinks orders when asked both in Greek and English. I expect there may be more queuing at peak season. The hotel manager last year and Maria (F&B manager) worked the restaurant brilliantly. We did not see the new hotel manager during our stay and Maria was no longer there at the end which was a great shame. All waiters / waitresses work hard and I am sorry to not to make special shout outs. Also the reception staff and in the office Andri were all so lovely and helpful. We booked to return prior to this break and hope things improve and this is just a blip!
