Hotel Bischofhof - Bistro Jasmin

In June we spent a few nights at the Bischofhof and treated ourselves to a gastronomic treat at the Jasmin twice. Hotel: Exceptionally clean and well-kept hotel (this is almost a given in South Tyrol, but the hotel is exemplary in this respect). What we missed was the usual warmth - friendly but somehow distant. After eating back from a walk, the hotel bar is usually closed (staff?). The multi-course menu is sensational and offers excellent value for money.

With my family, two adults and two boys, we stayed in this splendid hotel for 5 days. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the center, which can be reached with a walk along the river. The exterior is very well-kept with lots of greenery, a hydromassage and a beautiful swimming pool. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast plentiful and delicious with various local products. Surroundings quiet, we rested very well, unlike other reviews I can say that the proximity of the railway does not cause any discomfort. Very kind Mrs. Marlis who gave us excellent advice on itineraries and places to visit. Strongly recommended!

We rarely do reviews but this time we couldn't help it, because it's so heartfelt! First time for us in South Tyrol and we knew that we would see beautiful places but at the same time we were all warned of the "coldness" of the South Tyrolean welcome! Who knows where they have been... because to us it seemed the opposite: in this week at the Hotel Bischofhof we felt really pampered! Beautiful hotel, in a strategic position (from Chiusa you can reach most of the top locations in South Tyrol in half an hour), everything is perfectly taken care of, from the cleanliness of the rooms, to the garden with swimming pool, to the rich and assorted breakfast. The owner is also extraordinary: attentive to every need, she is available for everything! And then for us who chose the half board service, the pampering was extreme! At Jasmin Bistrot you eat divinely: a refined cuisine, always new, with non-trivial and always surprising combinations, from the entree, to the main courses to the desserts, all sublime. It starts from the Italian gastronomic tradition and then the chef ranges, having fun surprising customers. The wine list is also excellent. In short ... for us the Bischofhof hotel is definitely ten and ... two stars!

Not very large family-run hotel located near the historic center of Chiusa (5 minutes on foot) and the train station (5 minutes on foot) in a quiet position; the owners are very friendly and attentive. Quite spacious and clean room with carpet on the first floor overlooking the well-kept garden where the swimming pool (not very large) and the hydromassage tub (5 seats) are located. No air conditioning but not if he felt the need despite it being hot July 2022 and a large shower in the bathroom. Free bathrobe/towel set stored in the wardrobe. The water that flows from the tap is drinkable and tastes good. Excellent breakfast with sweet and savory products. Homemade jams and honey, fresh seasonal fruit (fantastic raspberries and blackberries) The hotel on the ground floor has a well-stocked bar for customers. In summary, a highly recommended hotel.

Gewoon TOP! Met vrienden op bezoek (22 september) bij deze geweldige keukenchef en zijn vrouw. We hadden een beetje lopen opscheppen over onze goede ervaringen met dit restaurant en dat wilden wij deze keer delen met onze vrienden. Altijd wel even van te voren reserveren! En dan komt het helemaal goed. Zo ook deze keer. Wat hebben we genoten van de kwalitatief heerlijke gerechten. Met bijpassende wijnen. Helemaal top. Ook de kamers zijn erg goed en het zwembad, voor Hollanders nooit te koud, was wel verfrissend. Ontbijt is prima bello. Leuk met elkaar gesproken over auto's….
