"A good, clean business hotel with good value for money. Classic decor. Very friendly staff. A nice coffee shop on the ground floor and a small pool (open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) on the roof terrace."
"Summary of Experience
1.Check-In: The check-in desk was efficient and friendly.
2.Dining Experience: I stayed for 4 nights, enjoying 4 breakfasts, 2 buffet dinners, and 1 dinner at the Italian restaurant on the 20th floor. Unfortunately, the overall service did not meet the standards of a 5-star hotel. At breakfast, coffee was not served despite ordering, and during the buffet dinner, I was asked to settle my bill within the first hour due to a crowded restaurant.
3.Room Amenities: The mini-fridge in my room was non-functional, and I chose not to request a replacement.
4.Pest Issues: I encountered mosquitoes in my room. After informing the front desk, anti-mosquito spray was applied.
5.Billing Confusion: My most significant issue occurred during my first meal at the Italian restaurant. After signing the bill with my room number, I received a call asking for credit card payment. Initially, I thought this was standard procedure. I requested the waiter to verify my guest status with the front desk, explaining my stay was registered with my passport. However, five minutes later, the waiter knocked on my door with a payment machine, insisting I settle the bill. This was both embarrassing and confusing, as I had already verified my status.
Despite my attempts to clarify, I felt pressured to pay after a long flight and a full day of meetings. When I contacted the front desk for clarity, I was told the issue was due to not providing a deposit, which I was never informed about at check-in. I emailed the hotel manager the following day but did not receive a response.
6. Check-out: I was incorrectly charged for mini-bar expenses, but the front desk ultimately waived the charges."
"It's ok to stay. Don't expect the breakfast to be good. It's edible. The mattress is average. It's quite old. The only convenience is that there is a Domino's near the door. It's very boring to eat. I don't like local food."
"The breakfast is good. It is very convenient to take the highway from the airport. However, the streets are very dirty, which is a common problem in Bangladesh. The service is good. The waiter brought the luggage to the room. The floor is high, the bed is soft, and the bath water is comfortable. Two bottles of water are provided."
"There was a cockroach about 10cm in size on the wall above the bed.
I called and a staff member came with a broom a while later.
I lost sight of it as I was trying to chase it away without even putting the bed cover on.
I was lucky to be given a different room, but doing work that could get dusty right on the bed is a good indication of the situation at this hotel.
While having breakfast the next morning, I was asked if I wanted coffee, and when I did, I was charged for it. I don't know what to say."

"Nice hotel but very much noise in the night someone was having a party with some people till 0400 am. .sorry to say but chittagong is not an easy city to visit .need to be there for business and a hotel must be a quite clean and silent place for their guests. They didn't really succeed .also it hotel is outdated and need renovation . Not easy to charge your phone but it's clean and bed was oke."
"Lovely moderately priced property. Good airco, huge room, fridge in room ++, breakfast was very good, egg station, cornflakes (yes!), wide selection of local favorites. Service very very very good. Would go back. Now about the image, Velvita ‘topping’ was big at home growing up and it’s the choice of Vegans now (no bovine ever came close to this ‘food stuff’. Anyways, the Hitel is fine."
