Amogha International Hotel

I stayed here 2,3 Times. Now I prefer Mayura or Naveen. located in vegetable market, Hard to find. Spacious but non maintained rooms. Full of Cockroaches and Lizards. Food quality is not so good. only plus point is closed parking. You better try others, This will be your last option only.

We were here last week for 2 nights. Lady at hotel reception was courteous. However we had a very bad experience with the hotel boys. 1. We had ordered for 4 cups of tea. We received a quantity of hardly 3 cups served in a flask with 4 different sized cups. The hotel boys think themselves too smart, like if they give us 4 diff cups, we wont understand they are cheating us on the quantity. Surprisingly while checking out when we mentioned the same to the manager at reception, he totally denied it.No wonder, the amount was also not adjusted from the pending bill. 2. We had packed our dinner from the restaurant downstairs. Our biggest mistake was we requested the hotel boys to give us 4 plates and spoons. They gave us after 30mins - some uncleaned used plates which were lying on the ground in front of another room for last 24 hours. It was unbelievable for us to experience such a nasty thing which claims itself to be an international hotel. 3. There are 2 restaurants in the same compound. Room service charged by the hotel boys are uneven and too much. Rs. 10 per cup of tea/coffee. So, a Rs. 10 cup tea you end up paying Rs. 20 and on top you get 3 cups paying for 4. Whereas the restaurant boys deliver food with free room service. 4. The security guard at the entrance does not understand any other than the local lang. It was horrific to make him understand that we want to park our car at their parking space. On top it is locked all the while and the guard carries the key with him. So you have to wait for him to open the garage for u if u want to go for a ride. 4. Approach road is too bad and very irritating for the one-ways amidst busy narrow market place. 5. Overall not a good experience at all.

We opted to stay here enroute our road trip to Goa. Selected this hotel based on the trip advisor ratings. But right from the task of locating this old shabby hotel, parking in the dark stinky basement, climbing floors to the rooms and selecting the ok ones from the worst lot, everything was a nightmarish experience. Worst service and very badly kept rooms. Broken furniture. Stay at your own risk.

The location is very difficult to negotiate n a crowded place, parking in particular is a pain, old place needs lot of work n maintenance

Hotel is good for family and also reasonable price. Morning breakfast is not available in this hotel.

The hotel feels outdated, stuck in the 1990s, and hasn’t adapted to modern standards. With new-generation hotels offering better services at competitive rates, it's disappointing to see they haven't kept up. Room service is average. While the rooms are spacious and airy, the toilets are very old-fashioned. Hot water is only available in the mornings, between 8:00 am and 10:00 am. There’s no breakfast package, and while a non-veg restaurant is located in the complex, it doesn’t open in the morning. Termites have affected several areas, especially around the mirror frames. Parking is available in the cellar, but spaces are limited. There’s no coffee or tea-making facility in the room, even though the hotel’s restaurant is closed in the morning. It was raining, and i had to walk 500 meters to get a decent coffee early in the morning. This lack of convenience, especially in such weather, adds to the overall disappointment.
