A wonderful find! Host goes the extra mile, friendly, knowledgable & great breakfast! The property is decorated in fantastic style & a beautiful & tranquil location. Loved the animals too. Would definitely go back & stay longer. A fabulous stay

A ‘Magical Gem’ set in beautiful, peaceful and tranquil countryside, but only a few minutes from the local village. Jean-Philippe ‘JP’ the wonderful and charming owner has created something truly special at ‘Le Clos des Chateaux’ with his creativity, style and eye for detail. The charming little ‘Gite’ I stayed in was beautifully restored and immaculately clean with everything I needed for my 6 night visit and it made the perfect base for my daily trips out on my bike to explore the area. My soul was singing once more when I came to leave - ‘ Merci beaucoup JP ‘.

We stayed 3 nights at "Le Clos du Chateau" with our kids. Its location is great to explore Cheverny; Chambord or the Beauval zoo. It is a little hard to find with GPS and the owner was great help to point us in the right direction. We had a two-bedroom suite for our two boys and us, sharing a shower room. The room opens onto a lovely living room (for guests only) with the dining room where you take your breakfast. The owner recently opened the place and is really friendly. Only area for improvement is cleaning of the room or changing towels which only happens upon request.

Très bon séjour, nous nous sommes arrêtés pour une nuit étape. La literie est très confortable, nous avons malheureusement eu très chaud cette nuit là, mais nous avons passé un très bon moment.

Quand nous sommes arrivés, nous avons été très bien accueillis par l'hôte et par notre Marcel , le chien de la maison ! nous avons eu une visite des espaces accessibles, très bien et de notre chambre = décoration TOP, propreté TOP, literie TOP, petite déjeuner TOP quoi dire de plus , un séjour parfait et c'est sûre on y reviendra ; nous avions réservé pour nous rendre au Zoo de Beauval et nous avons passé un SUPER SEJOUR DE 2 JOURS ET DE MERVEILLEURS SOUVENIRS dans cadre superbe et le temps était avec nous - MERCI
