We have just spent 4 nights as part of a self guided ebike tour. This is a family run, French hotel - the service and food are excellent. Such a friendly and obliging team. We saw families, couples, groups all having a really lovely time enjoying the cycling, the pool and the superb food. Relax and go with the flow!

We returned to this auberge after 20 years, remembering the excellent food. It lived up to expectations and we had two very good evening meals with beautifully presented courses. Our only comment is that when staying more than one night the menu is the same. It would be good to have a daily special each evening. Our room overlooked the garden and whilst a bit quirky was clean and very comfortable and had air conditioning. All the staff were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights.

The hotel was centrally located close to Blois and chateau de Cheverny. It has a nice pool and garden, excellent for children. The hosts were friendly. The food in the restaurant was very good. The family room was small and not very practical. E.g. the bathtub was located under the roof so you could not shower standing up.

Two couples on a cycling holiday, we stayed three nights here - and loved it! The rooms ARE quirky but ours were both spotless, the beds super comfy, air con available, modern bathrooms. The staff and owners were all super friendly and ensured guests had an enjoyable stay - nothing was too much trouble. Lovely mix of guests. Informal garden with private spaces to sit in, pool area looked inviting, plenty of off street parking. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and is extremely well run by well trained staff. Our evening meals were excellent and a pleasure to eat, (my veggie meals were exceptional - a first for me in France). Breakfast was a large buffet with a wide selection of fresh local fare to enjoy, including local apple juice and yoghurts. Very good value.

Ideal location in a quiet village close to Chateaux of the Loire area. Friendly welcome on arrival, good English spoken. Room good but would have preferred a separate shower rather than one over the bath with limited headroom (second floor room).

We stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful time, great accommodation and food. Very friendly and helpful staff. We rented bikes for one day and explored the local vineyards and chateau. We relaxed in the swimming pool after hard days sightseeing.

Beautiful grounds and pool. Very welcoming staff. Had a problem with air conditioning first night, but given a welcome bottle of wine in recompense. Menu very limited so not possible to use two nights in a row.

Camera assolutamente non adeguata, condizionatore rumoroso vecchio e non efficiente. Cosa più spiacevole è la scarsa pulizia, un plaid di un letto era coperto da molti peli di cane, chiaramente ci aveva dormito sopra e non era stato pulito. Per me che sono allergico è un problema. Resto dell' albergo che necessita di una rinnovata. Unica nota positiva piscina. Sconsiglio
