We stayed at the hotel for just a few hours after a long car journey. The next day we had an early flight. We arrived around 11:00 PM local time. When I booked, there was information in the notes that the reception was open until 8:00 PM and that I needed to notify them of a later check-in. The hotel website had a mobile phone number linked to VIBER, which I used to contact the hotel. First, they confirmed my reservation, and second, as it turned out, the reception was open 24 hours a day. The girl at the reception thanked me for informing me of the late check-in.
Upon arrival and check-out, the staff did a great job 💯%. They helped me lift/take down my suitcases and quickly called a taxi (there is no elevator in the hotel and this was invaluable help for me). To understand, I was alone with two small children.
The room was very nice, clean, fresh, it's a pity we didn't have time to enjoy it. Since we had a very early flight, we didn't have time for breakfast. They packed lunch boxes for us, but it turned out somehow awkwardly (they were packed poorly/inconveniently), I only took yogurts for the children. And the number of bags exceeded the number of hands. In any case, thank you for your concern, but perhaps we should think about how to prepare lunch boxes for guests more correctly in the future.

Small and a bit outdated, but clean hotel in central Chisinau (not in the very heart of of the city as advertised), very friendly and always willing to help staff, good but nothing spectacular breakfast, average WiFi, there is a free parking (you have to specify it in advance when booking) or in general - very good value for its price. What I didn’t like is the fact there is no lift and it’s a challenge to climb/get down the narrow stairs with a big suitcase, the other issue is the sound isolation - you can hear your neighbours or people walking in the corridor.

The location of the Komilfo is really good - close to the city centre without being right in it. The staff could not have been friendlier and were really accommodating - we arrived at around 9:30am having got off the night train and had had very little sleep. They took pity on us and offered us a larger room there and then because ours was not ready at that time in the morning for which we will be eternally grateful! The bar/breakfast room was small but well stocked and there was plenty of food and hot and cold drinks for breakfast and it never felt crowded. This is a great option if you need a good value, friendly place to stay in Chisinau.

The hotel is small. There are beautiful trees in the small courtyard. Ideal for a summer holiday, but also good in the spring. The wood-burning sauna is wonderful. We asked in advance what temperature we liked. There was herbal tea. The deluxe room is excellent. There is a bath. Close to the city center. Five minutes and you are near the Arc de Triomphe. You can sit on the balcony. There are no particular shortcomings, maybe only there is not enough kettle in the room. In addition, the dishes break easily because the coating is tile. The interior is quite pleasant, in a loft style. Breakfast takes place in a small restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. All dishes are delicious. There were boiled vegetables, sausages, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, sausage, cheese. Tea and coffee are also at the same level. The administrators create a friendly atmosphere in the hotel.
