Friendly staff, nice and quiet and the bed was nice and comfortable, however only a few tv channels worked and when we put on the air conditioning/heating very strong musty smell came out. Had 2 breakfasts almost £22 one of the worst l have had,the fried eggs were like rubber must have been on the hot plate for ages, the bacon was fatty streaky and the scrambled egg was full of water, and all luke warm. Has put me off having a meal there again.

We arrived late after a visit to Blenheim palace, the young girl who checked us in was so lovely and chatty. They were also incredibly helpful when we rang ahead the day before to ask if it was possible to have both rooms next to each other or as close as possible. The rooms were lovely and clean, the bathroom had some slight damp but that isn’t unusual but nothing that made it unusable. Sadly there are things that weren’t great and that was how uncomfortable the mattress and pillows are (something the company pride themselves on) we’ve stopped in many of the hotels and this is the first time we’ve woken with a sore backs and necks. Secondly was the hot water or lack of! Trying to get the shower to have any decent heat was one thing after a long day but the next morning we had no hot water from the sink and ended up using the bath water and filling the sink. When we arrived for breakfast we stood for a while like the sign said before anyone actually came over, others waited much longer and I even ended up telling an elderly couple they may as well sit themselves and give room numbers as they leave because there hadn’t been anyone around for a while. Lots of tables left with dirty plates on etc but there seemed to be at one point only one member of staff going between both receptions and the breakfast area. We made this staff member aware of the hot water when we checked out which made her roll her eyes but not at us more at the hot water like it wasn’t the first time. The hotel was affordable and I wouldn’t rule it out as an option for a single night but not for any longer. It was the girl who checked us in that made everything else that little bit better because she was a star! Long blonde hair, wish I had taken her name but she is a credit to the company

This is by far one of the worse Premier Inn I've stayed in no hot water in bathroom sink very limited TV channels asked manager to sort the issues on the Friday, still the same on leaving on the Sunday, full house on the Friday only 1 chef and manager doing waiting staff duties, waited 45 minutes for the main course which was poorly cooked, was on the meal deal paid in advance kitchen was closed Saturday evening as ovens were down but wasn't told until just after 3pm when went to book evening meal, the whole experience was very poor wouldn't recommend this Premier Inn

A rather tired room, clean but a few stains on the chair from previous occupants. Our biggest gripe was that we couldn’t open the window. We ALWAYS sleep with a window open and this wasn’t possible. Air-con has its place but is very drying so we turned it off. Opening windows please, we were three floors up so break-ins weren’t possible. No excuse for this.

For us regular Prem Inn guests, this one was a first for us. Location, parking, comfortable room, great breakfast, all excellent. An extra very good for the staff, friendly and helpful from check in to check out, nice smiley faces. Special note; the best porridge I've ever had in a Prem Inn. Well done Whitbread: We will be back.

Nice and quiet three night family experience in the Cotswolds. Only one morning had to Que for breakfast- around 10 minutes coming off a busy weekend but rest of week, very quiet. Only thing really had problems with is that we were on top floor and the room got very warm and the air con was barely noticeable. You can’t open a window either. But still Would recommend this place.

Used to be a reliable hotel brand, but cost cutting now in evidence where ever you go. One team member serving check in and restaurant was a bad start (left waiting for 10 minutes when checking in), room dirty, WiFi a nostalgic trip back to late 1990s dial up speed, items broken in room (bedside lamp and desk light), breakfast much worse than it used to be (but more expensive of course) - all this in one of their new format hotels. Called the day before to request an adjoining room for my family. Request met on the phone but one of the adjoining rooms then given to someone else at check in meaning the other room was down the corridor. All of the above was discussed with the hotel team on the night but “couldn’t do anything as fully booked”. Clearly more ****** like me for trusting the brand, hopefully more people will abandon them if their customer experience was the same as mine. I’ll complain to head office but I don’t expect to get a response, they used to show that they cared but not anymore.

Very non personal. No staff on arrival, check by computer. No staff to ask for additional pillows, just didn't feel welcome. Was clean and tidy, restaurant not welcoming and plenty of lovely restaurants in town so was not tempted at all by the food. Room too warm!
