Always a friendly and accommodating check-in. The room was clean and smelled slightly of disinfectant. The towels and bed linens were clean and fresh with no stains or odor. The coffee maker was clean and neatly arranged on a tray with coffee, decaf coffee, tea, and individual packages of cream, sugar, napkin, and stir stick. The counter area and mirror were spotless, as was the toilet and shower. Comfortable bed with more than enough pillows. The TV is large and suitably located for viewing from the bed or chair. All-in-all a very pleasant environment conducive to a good night.

Clean and nice room. Next to the state park with a nice waterfall. Lady at front desk outstanding friendly and helpful.

Well I was expecting basic and just hoping for clean.Initially I was pleased with cleanliness of room other than the comforter being a little stained. There was a tile floor which generally makes me feel better about a rooms cleanliness Then I looked at the bottom of my socks after walking around for less than an hour. And you can see the results by the picture below .
So I would say if the room was cleaner I would give it and 8 or 9 overall(AC works well, fridge and microwave on room) but it's hard for me to get past how gross these floors are. So the best I can give it is 6 out of 10.

The front desk lady was soooo sweet. But we had to switch rooms 2 times because the AC in the first room didnt work. The second one the water ran and made everything wet from the humidity. But she was so nice about it and moved us to another room. With great AC but the beds were hard. The outside of the place was dirty looking. Iv never stayed at red roof that was like this. Usually they are the best iv ever seen.

Could be better
If you’ve been on the road for 8 plus hours, out of it and need a place to “crash”, this place will do. The floors were sticky, had to wear socks around the room and they were brown after walking around a few minutes. The tv was slanted and fuzzy. Two of the lights flickered in the room no matter how much I tried to tighten them. The bed sunk in towards the middle, not great for the back after a long drive. The only plus was that the shower/tub was clean and the staff were nice. Not sure how the review is as high as it is.
