I am sad to say that this was probably the worst stay ever for us. It was impersonal, we never saw a real person (except for my husband who saw 2 girls working on their internet) and even though it stated that the LOBBY was open from 8 to 3!! We picked up our key in a black box outside the locked lobby doors! They mentioned that if we were staying more than 1 night (unfortunately we did) the room may be refreshed...key word...MAY ! Each time we left and came back to our rooms, the bed was still a mess, towels on the floor and no one to get clean ones from. It was the oddest stay and most disappointing ever! Not to mention finding the COFFEE in a side room!! This place is definitely NOT worth the price they charge. Shame on you for calling yourself an INN!! More like "The ABANDONED ROOMS" on Main!

One hates to be critical of the hard work of people trying to create something, but this Inn, once a roadside motel is still a roadside motel with some fresh paint and a few in-room upgrades. The photograph on the web page showed a little garden, which implied a cozy little inn but the reality is completely different...a traditional motel layout with "Office" straight out of the 60's and no frills, even help to carry luggage up or down external stairs. I have rarely been as disappointed as I have been by this property. Rates are obviously higher during the Pony Beachwalk and Swim and you can be sure that this Inn is not shy with room rates.

Wow! This former mom and pop style motel has been transformed into a contemporary inn that is bright, cheery, and a mini resort. Fire-pit and screened patio common area and a well appointed reception area The new owners are most helpful. For the cost effective seeking travelers don’t pass this one up. Really nice and right on Main St near boutique shops and art galleries . A definite come back to

This is one of the first motels you get to once you enter onto the island. You can walk to restaurants. There are new owners and they just updated the rooms so they are nice with a microwave and fridge with a freezer. Just be advised, it is an old style motel where you check in then drive to your room. There is one parking spot per room so if someone takes more than one spot you will have to look for parking on the street. I saw one review where they mentioned the rooms were really humid...we found the same thing!
