We liked the cabins because of the LOCATION. It's quiet and the view is great. There was a sunset Cruise right from the marina dock, and we loved it. We saw the ponies up close and some dolphins playing. The cabins were dated but clean, and had a kitchen that we could use to make soup and sandwiches. No microwave and the AC had a bit of trouble cooling the room, but the breeze cooled the cabin after sunset. With my teens, I might have stayed on the other side of Chincoteague, where you can walk for food and night life - but that side is noisier and busier. I had a slight feeling of sketchiness from the personnel, like maybe they weren't being honest - it reminded me of the Caribbean, where every answer was calculated to make them look the best or get a tip. But overall I still give it a 4 star review.
