My husband and I stayed here one night as part of our honeymoon. We had a wonderful time! We were greeted at the entrance with our family name on the welcome sign. The meal was served in our room and was delicious. The Japanese-style room was comfortably appointed, with the lovely smell of tatami! There is a private family bath you can rent, highly recommended! The regular women's bath upstairs was ok, but the bath area had some mildew and tiles in disrepair. Nice view, though. The basement bath with the stones was very enjoyable! We tried all three baths, and I definitely left with my skin feeling silky smooth. The building is dated, as evidenced by the furniture and decor, but I liked the 'Showa-retro' ambience. Not sure the staff speaks English, so it’s helpful to know some Japanese. Nice, slightly off the beaten-track, location. I would gladly go again.

Hotel AO Dazaifu hit if I was looking for a cheap hotel near nishitetsu nikkaichi station. I went because there was no information at all and the address was addressed. At the entrance of the miscellaneous building, the receptionist was a second floor rental car shop, so when I asked, the one room condominium on the third floor was a private night.
