An excellent resort by itself located in Aldur ,Yelagudige village which is approximately 19.2 km and 30 min from Chikkamagalur Town. A very beautiful resort which is in the midst of coffee plantation. It is a place away from the honks and vehicular noise. Coffee grove resort is situated in a serene atmosphere .We were a family of four led by Jayasree -Chief of Home Department accompanied by Wing Commanders of Home Rishika and Koshika followed by the Drum Master Debraj. The Resort was hand picked by Chief and Wing Commanders of Home. The resort is led by GM Mr.Shibu Mathew with always a smile on face with his Smiley Front Office Team comprising of Ms.Manasa , Ms.Savitha , Mr.Madhu , Mr. Jacob and Mr. Mohesh. All of them very well behaved and very enterprising The rooms were very well maintained and clean . The next requirement was food. The Quality of food was delicious ,sumptuous and variety was excellent. Adige or Rasoi or The Kitchen was led by Chef Mr.Prasanna , a soft spoken gentleman with always a smile and always "A Yes" to all requests by the guests. Hats off to his Team Mr.Neelamani ,Mr.Pawan ,Mr.Gurumurthy ,Mr.Shivakumar, Mr.Avinash and Mr. Radheshyam and for their patience in dealing with all guests with a great demeanor. The F&B Department team of Mr.Pradeep ,Mr.Shahil ,Mr.Suresh, Mr.Anzil ,Mr.Sandesh and Mr.Prashant were another Team who showcased the word Patience and Smiling Demeanor. The House Keeping team comprised of Mr.Gurudev ,Mr.Rakshit ,Mr.Deepak and Mr.Ayyappa who did a fantastic job in maintaining the Rooms so clean. The account Mr.Rakshit was all quiet to ensure that he did all correct. We spent six nights with beautiful birds chirping in the early morning and sounds of crickets in the night all in synchrony .The beautiful coffee plantations with varied flowering trees made our stay beautiful . Recommend this place to all who love nature ,serene and greenery. Also this place is in the middle from where we can venture in to the Jungle Safari of Bhadra Tiger Reserve - Muthodi Forest which is around 42 km , Belur and Halebeedu never to be missed for the History of Hoysala Kingdom , Mullayangiri and Baba Budan Giri which is around 39km and 40Km respectively. One should not miss the Coffee Board in Chikkamaglur Town and learn the connection of Baba Budan who was a saint and the Coffee Plantation story of Chikkamaglur. Lot of waterfalls like Jhari Falls ,Hebbe falls are also an attraction. People who might want to go on a Pilgrimage to Dharmastala ,Sowthadka MahaGanapati Temple and Kukke Subramanyeswara routes also can be explored. We had a perfect stay in Coffee Grove Resort and their warmth never let us feel that we are away from home.
