Garden Grove Inn Bed and Breakfast

To be fair, I don’t really consider myself a Bed & Breakfast aficionado, but I do travel a lot and most of the time with my dogs in tow. This was our second stay here at the Garden Grove Inn, and it was just as good as the first trip. This time we were in The Garden Retreat room in the Carriage House. The room was clean, well maintained, and had all the stuff you might expect to find in typical house (mini fridge, microwave, blow dryer, coffee pot, electric kettle). The room was large enough for my wife and I, both of our dogs, and two crates which we brought with us for when we needed to leave the dogs unattended. Besides being very accommodating to our fury traveling companions, what I like most about this place is the breakfast. I have eaten my fair share of poorly made complimentary hotel breakfasts before, but never here. Everything is great, and I do mean everything. Each morning we got a different little pastry then an egg and potato dish. The broccoli and cheese quiche was ridiculous, and the sweet potato hash we got with the breakfast tacos on day two was better than what you find at most restaurants. The coffee is from a local roaster down the Red Arrow Highway, and even the hot sauces were artisanal. We plan on staying here again on our next visit to the area for sure.

I highly recommend Garden Grove Inn for a getaway weekend or even a weekday stay! Hillary and her staff have a very welcoming and comfortable inn. Both times I stayed here, I was in the Violet Room. The breakfast served is delicious! Nearby Neon Moon Gelato is also worth visiting. I look forward to another stay someday.

Really enjoyed our stay @ Garden Grove Inn. Hillary & the staff are all very nice and helpful. The breakfasts are very tasty too. We stayed in the Woodlands Suite and it was everything we could have asked for. Wonderful time. Would be happy to return in the future.

My daughters and I had such a wonderful time enjoying a girls weekend in Union Pier thanks to Hillary’s expert knowledge of the area and her quaint and cozy inn. Hillary helped us put together a fun-filled weekend based on our interests, hitting some of the best spots in the area. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was homemade and so delicious. I loved the coffee so much I had to make a trip to her local roaster to buy some to take home! The bed and breakfast experience is so fun and we loved the home-y feel of it all. The staff was so friendly and Hillary’s warmth and passion for hospitality shows through. We enjoyed chatting with her and learning about her dream of owning a B&B. We would highly recommend a stay. Union Pier had so much to offer and we couldn’t do it all in one weekend! We will be back!

The host is amazing with communication before and during, She is an excellent cook and Breakfast is really good something you’ll remember. She thinks of all the little details too that make your trip worry free. Super clean with a warm home feeling.

A tranquil B&B located just off the highway, close to local attractions such as wineries and beaches. Dog-friendly which helped accommodate for my 70-lb dog. Breakfast delivered to your room, varies each day, so filling. Can’t wait to return back to his LGBTQ friendly site!
