Hotel Boutique Aroma de Mar

A small hotel with nice rooms and beautiful sight . Nothing negative to say about the hotel and the lady at the reception. She was very nice and very helpfull. We made a reservation for the restaurant for 4 persons to try out the food. First of all we were told if we wanted the daily menu we had to sit on the outside ofthe restaurant. So if we were 2 out of the 4 with a menu , 2 had to go outisde and the others could stay inside. We would still be able to understand if the restaurant was fully booked, but we were the only ones. Then finally we decided to choose from the menu card and as it was luch we didn´t want to take more than 1 plate. So the lady server was not too happy because we didn´t take a starter. Then once the order was taken she brought bread and some appetizers on the table. We mentionned to her that we didn´t want bread. Result she took the bread and the appetizer away. We asked why take the appetizer away? She came back with the appetizer and the bread. She was not friendly at all because we didn´t do her way. So what we did ...we paid the beers that we had ordered , cancelled everything went out of the restaurant. Because a treatment like this for rather high priced food, we didn´t accept and also because we were the only ones in the restaurant. It was not that she was so busy....She had a very bad attitude not at all business oriented. We also informed the lady at the reception of our experience.

We have just stayed in this hotel for two days and we absolutely loved it! It's right on the beach and all you can hear is the sound of the sea. It's small and beautifully designed and the staff are very friendly . We could not fault it!
