Fine for a night, simple room, clean, in the middle of Chichester. Only downside, WiFi only free for 30min. Then you need to pay. In order to do so, you need to call a number which is difficult if you don’t have a European SIM card. It is 3pounds for 24h.

This hotel is due an update, which I understand is on the cards. However, it is tired and noisy, due to bin collection and being next door to Wetherspoons. However, the staff did their best to help resolve numerous issues. Great location, we will have another go when the new hotel is open. We had an accessible room which was too small for a large wheelchair as was the lift.

Incredible stay!!!! I’m so glad I got to visit. Parking was easy downstairs! I was so glad I met Gina who welcomed me while I was really struggling during the day during check-in. Everyone else was super nice. The location is great. It was easy to walk around its right next to the cathedral. Definitely recommend staying here for events and definitely say hi to Gina because she absolutely makes the day better. She’s the best!!!

Great location for the money. Car park is first come first served but plenty of spaces when we stayed midweek and we were able to extend it beyond the noon checkout time so that we could explore Chichester. Nice and quiet for sleeping. The desk is manned. Helpful staff. Building is a little tired but only real issue was heat in our third floor room. In summer lower floors where windows open further might be preferable.

Staff were not all responsive. We didn't have a/c and the windows opened only 1/4 inch. We were miserable and the first few staff told us nothing they could do. On the third day of our 6 day stay we noticed a room that had a/c and complained and that staff person finally consented to find us a room that had a/c. When we first arrived we asked for extra pillows and were told that wasn't possible. Eventually we found a staff member who agreed readily to get us the pillows.

Travelodge served it's purpose for my one night stay in Chichester. Comfy bed, portable air conditioning unit to keep the room nice and cool, and above all amazing customer service. A huge shout out to Kia and her colleague (unfortunately I didn't get her name). Both very friendly and approachable, and genuinely interested in not only listening to what you have to say but also very genuine in having a conversation with you. Honestly their friendliness and genuineness is what truly impressed me the most. Kia and her colleague are worth their weight in gold :-)
