I had a wonderful stay at Best Western Grant Park Hotel during my visit to Chicago. The hotel's location is one of its biggest advantages—Grant Park is right across the street, and popular attractions like Buckingham Fountain, Millennium Park, the Museum Campus (home to Shedd Aquarium and the Field Museum), and the Art Institute of Chicago are all within walking distance.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafés, and public transportation options nearby, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in downtown Chicago.

The hotel is quite close to the exhibition center, about a 30-minute walk. There's a park nearby, and it's not far from the lake either. However, the hotel staff had a poor attitude; they were unwilling to provide disposable toiletries, though the guy who helped with luggage storage was good. The room facilities are old, soundproofing is bad, and the bathroom has no extractor fan – the alarm even went off after a shower if the door wasn't closed. It's definitely not worth $350 a night.

Location is perfect as it's just opposite to Lakeview and walking distance to Millennium park. The bust and metro stop is also just around with some nice cafes and restaurants. Staff was friendly and overall environment was decent.

Overall, my experience was just average. The price was quite high, over 2000 per night, likely due to a trade show, and breakfast wasn't included. The room was a standard size. Don't expect too much from this place. A major downside was the noise from outside at night.

The room was very clean, and the location is absolutely fantastic, right in downtown Chicago surrounded by several universities. To the south is a public park, and a little further walk brings you to the lakefront. The only downside is that parking costs money, but the front desk service was good; they recommended a few nearby parking lots.
