We booked the hotel at the last minute through Trip.com. It was advertised as a last room available and a smoker’s room so our expectations were tentative. We were very pleasantly surprised by the standard and cleanliness of the facility. It is very conveniently located an easy 4 minute walk from the Hakimmakuhari railway station station. There are plenty of eateries in the vicinity. The Hareda and Narita AirPort Express bus also stops at this hotel. The room was clean with no smoker’s smell and all the comforts available for travellers. Breakfast and lunch is available at the hotel cafe. The food and service is very good. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive to our needs and nothing was too much for them. Ueda-san deserves special mention. The hotel is located within the Makuhari Residential Park and the parklands are pleasant to walk around. Makuhari beach is a 10-15 walk from the hotel, as is the Zozo Marine baseball park. Highly recommended.

good location near chiba train station. taxi just cost 1,300 yen which is 13 AUD. cleaned place everyday new towel and cleaning. lots of restaurants to choose nearby and small shops. their is temple just behind the hotel 3mins walk. staff is help-full and nice staff. there is smoking area in 4th floor and smoking bedroom.

Because my husband was old, I used the universal room (barrier free room). The room was compact and there was no extra thing, so I was saved by the master who was easy to fall. I had early dementia, but I was able to go without hesitation in the toilet. The bath was also easy to use with a handrail. It is also great to have a large refill bottle, such as shampoo and body soap, which is environmentally friendly. I was only worried that there was mold inside the toilet, but it is good to be improved next time I asked. About breakfast. Because it was a corona time, there was no buffet and I could bring a breakfast box instead. I didn't expect it (suimasen), but it was very delicious. The soup was especially delicious. Location is good in that it's right next to the Don Quiote and the surrounding area is quite relaxing. It's a comfortable 15min walk to Chiba Station. The hotel has its own ”onzen” which I quite unique to have for a city hotel, so thats a nice feature. Rooms were nice and comfortable. The only thing was that road noise was quite audible at times, but luckily it wasn't that frequent when train or passing cars in the area would cause any annoyance

The location is great and the lobby has a high ceiling and is open. The rooms are large and the parking lot is free, but it is difficult to take a bath because the bath is easy to clog and the water drainage is poor. The bed mattress is ok, but the pillows are not good. I thought the breakfast buffet was not very good. I was curious that the employees were taking buffet salads and drinks with the customers, and I was surprised that the employees also had breakfast at the same buffet as the customers. Normally, when customers are using the buffet, do employees mix with customers to cook? The front desk clerk felt normally good, but the breakfast employees were insane and pulled quite a bit. The room is large but disillusioned with the quality of the pillows, the poor drainage in the bathroom, and the insane attitude of the elderly female employees at the breakfast venue. No repeat.

The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from Kaihin Makuhari Station. It is a Western-style building and I was able to check in while sitting. The atmosphere is that of a European hotel. I chose a twin room for single use, but it was more than spacious enough. The view was of the center of Makuhari and it was open. The bathtub and shower room were separate, and the time it took to fill the bathtub with hot water was about 2 minutes, so be careful. You can enjoy a fluffy bath with the bubble rinse provided. The amenities were minimal, and there was no lotion or toner. There was a bathrobe hanging in the bathroom. There was a sofa, table, desk, etc., but it was spacious enough. However, it was disappointing that there was no power outlet by the pillow, so I had to charge my smartphone somewhere else. The front desk checked my preferred cleaning time and responded to it when I returned to my room. Also, the bed mattress was old, so I personally couldn't sleep well. It was a shame that it wasn't a first-class bed mattress. Also, the lights didn't go dark in the whole room unless I turned them off one by one, so it would have been easier if they could be turned on and off centrally.
