The room is big and spacious. We book room with a King bed. Toilet is good. Location convenient. Just 6 minutes away from chiayi TSR. 16 minutes away from chiayi HSR. Not so good is near hospital at night have ambulance sound.

Located next to the Wenhua night market, and provided all the amenities required for a normal traveller, and the check-in was smooth. The breakfast buffet provided variety of food to fuel up for the day, especially providing great options of vegetarian dishes. Bath salt was also the highlight, giving a moment of relaxation. However, the bath is quite small and only fits for 1 person (not even a tall one), so it was not easy for getting my partner to enjoy it together. And the wash basin looked heavily used like gonna be breaking very soon.

Take a taxi from Taipei Railway Chiayi Station, it costs about NT$200 and it takes about ten minutes to get there. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the room is also very large. There is a barbecue restaurant in the lobby on the first floor, the taste is good, but a little expensive. But there is a beef noodle restaurant on the left turn outside the hotel, the taste is super delicious. The boss is a little arrogant, maybe he is a little proud of the good taste? Haha

The service and breakfast are good, and the beds are clean, but the decoration needs to be changed and the cost of repairs should be spent. Bathtubs are worn out, and some do not have bathroom TVs... It can be improved with renovation. The rooms are on the third floor with steep stairs and short steps, so be careful when walking, which is better than some The unscrupulous motel lets people live on the second floor. The KTV room on the third floor is much noisier. The European tour is good!

I recently stayed at the Maison De Chine Hotel in Chiayi for two nights and was pleasantly surprised by the value offered. I booked one of the cheaper rooms without a window, and let me tell you, it exceeded my expectations. The room was incredibly spacious, featuring a cozy sofa corner, a separate tea-making station, and a cleverly designed layout with a separate toilet, bathroom basin, shower, and bathroom area. This setup provided a level of convenience and comfort that’s hard to find at this price point. Although I mostly used the room for sleeping, it was a great space to retreat to after a day of exploring. The reception team, especially Ken, was fantastic. They were always ready to help, whether it was organizing taxis at a moment’s notice or offering detailed information on how to catch a bus to Alishan. One of the standout amenities was the free laundry room—an absolute lifesaver for someone like me who’s been traveling solo around Taiwan. It’s also worth mentioning the hotel’s excellent location. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the night market, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and enjoy some delicious street food. There’s a cheap and tasty breakfast cafe right across the road and a Family Mart around the corner, where you can conveniently book your HSR tickets. Overall, my stay at Maison De Chine Hotel was wonderful, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Chiayi.

Clean and classy hostel with great common areas. The staff in the reception is professional and polite. They provide free luggage storage. The only uncomfortable thing is that the bunk beds don't have that much privacy as the curtains cover half the bead. They don't provide towels.

perfect location...the hotel can be seen once you get out from the Chiayi Hotel.. Muslim traveler I highly recommend this hotel..the room is spacious, the toilet is super clean. And you can go to the halal restaurant run by an Indonesian just in front of the hotel..their food is superb guys.. The staff very very friendly and helpful (I face some difficulty with the dryer) shout out to the lady (maybe she work as a housekeeping) she is very helpful and very nice. And also the guy who work in dining ( he wear glasses) he also took an effort to understand my English and help me with the dryer... Seriously it was a pleasant stay in this hotel...

a super nice kids hotel. the rooms equip with slides and race car, my toddler is so excited. and there is an indoor playground at hotel lobby as well . breakfast wise not much choice but it comes in set. food is good as well. and hotel is very near to train station. 5mins walk away
