這麼久了才有空來寫評價 在決定阿爾山的行程之後就把烏蘭毛都作為中間的一個休息點，酒店就定了河谷酒店。附近的民宿真的也都蠻貴的。因為想自駕怕堵車就選擇了錯峯出行，在十一大批人馬出發之前去的，這裏也強烈建議錯峯來，比節假日便宜便宜不說服務也會更好一些，不是說人多了服務就不好了，但是人少的話管家和服務人員的時間一定是更充裕的，而且酒店的擺渡車也是有限的。在住宿期間是有管家可以開擺渡車帶着去附近的宿集參觀遊玩的，在哪個民宿那可以騎馬我忘了，費用大概在300左右，從山下到山頂再下來，全程差不多45分鐘，當時我們去的有些晚了趕不上後面的行程就沒騎，其實性價比還是不錯的，有時間可以騎一圈。管家姐姐把所有的民宿都帶我們去了，我們去的時候還帶了老人，服務員姐姐全程陪同老人，會幫忙扶一下老人上下擺渡車（包括我姥不撒手的小包也幫忙拿着）還幫我們照相。而且酒店周圍的景色也很棒，午飯晚飯的話在前台點餐人均100左右，價格還是很公道的，而且味道也不錯。畢竟是新開的酒店環境肯定是沒得說，我們住的四人套件，房間裏有個小冰箱，裏面的飲料也都是免費的，那個果酒還挺好喝。 總之是一次很不錯的體驗，在酒店就可以玩一天，可以完全當成一個景區來玩，據說下午的夕陽和晚上的星空很美可惜我們當天趕上了陰天，第二天下午就要走了，夕陽衹看到一點點，星星是一個沒看見。旅行中的遺憾也是避免不了的，希望下次如果還有機會去的話可以看到吧

The family of five went on a trip. They originally booked two standard rooms. The service of the hotel staff was very good. I came there with my family in December 2015. The view from our room was great (we booked 3 rooms) and the rooms were clean. This hotel is best for relaxation as the area is very quiet. Breakfast was delicious too, but they didn't specify the name of the food (it was a bit difficult for us to identify halal food). Another problem was that there were no restaurants or (similar to 7-11 convenience stores) shops nearby (the nearest restaurant takes 10-15 minutes to walk). Besides that, the overall experience was great.

We spent a few days in August in this hotel and the truth is that it was excellent value for money. The friendly and decisive staff. Location in the square of Chiang Mai, totally central. Stopped here a few times, mainly because my Thai in-laws love the place, only because it is so close to the airport. Every visit something was wrong!! Not exactly the cheapest accommodation either.The toilet would not flush in one room, the taps at the bathroom sink turned with the handles in another room. We could not sleep because of the road noise (we were on the 5th floor!) in another room. The wi-fi was non-existent in one room.There was no hot water in another room. Every room the shower trays filled up with soapy water and was very slippery; dangerous in fact. The breakfast was OK for me, nothing flash. Toast, jam, juice, tea, coffee, milo, all the basics. Not real sure why people were climbing through the window to get here though. One lady I saw scraped all the brown off her toast, so that is was just white!!?? (Something to do with Thais believing that toast causes cancer I was told). Loved the sign beside the toaster that actually worked (the other one was broken on every visit and was just sitting there collecting dust). No cancer from that one! Words to this effect: ”Please do not put butter and jam on bread before placing in toaster.” At least the beer from reception 'fridge was cheaper than most shops. Nice and cold too. Gotta love it!

I arrived to the hotel and on the outside it looked really nice, and the staff was very nice. The girl who checked me in thow wasn't that great to understand english, so I was lucky to speak some thai. The didn't help you with your bags up to the room, but I didn't mind because I travel with good working bags that has wheels. When I came in the room the first thing that hit me was a bad smell from the toilet. (I was given a room on the top floor 608 to be precise. The size of the room was ok, but the furniture I could see how dirty and worn down rhey where. It looked like something the bought on a fleemarket. Further on I tried the bed it was the worst matress I have ever slept on, not only that the hotel is next to a road and at night it was so noicy from traffic so I didn't get much sleep. Sometimes I woke up and thought I had a motorbike in my room. I had booked a stay for 5 nights, but after 1 night I decided to move. So after one more painful night I checked out from this hotel and will NEVER return again.

Recently stayed at Lotus Pang Suan Kaew Hotel in Chiang Mai. The location of the hotel was not ideal, situated quite far to various attractions. Fair to say that the room was good and provided the basic amenities, delicious breakfast, though it felt a bit dated. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, some areas of improvement could include modernizing the facilities and updating the decor to enhance the overall guest experience, especially there are leakage near bathroom area, it definitely has potential to be vintage hotel if improvement made

Upon appearance this hotel looks rather elegant and really quite charming and in a great location, close to local markets and bars and a good base for tours. The lobby is gorgeous and the lady checking us in was very informative and polite. The room we were given on the 18th floor. (1826) was huge and although dated was still very nice and with a great view of the city. The pool area is lovely too, but as you can imagine the bar prices were expensive. The good ended there. The lifts take far too long to come down. There is an express lift but is no faster. The wifi is very hit and miss. The beds were awful and were sleeping on concrete blocks. Had the worst night’s sleep for the 1st of 2 nights. 2nd night we actually slept quite well but mainly due to being so tired from the night before. The shower is nothing but a trickle, and there is a ledge on the floor in the doorway when entering the bathroom which is very easy to trip over, maybe get some yellow tape on it. Breakfast was mainly catered for asians, not many western options at all, and what was there was grim, we had breakfast included but didn’t bother the next day. Over all it is good value for money and if they were to change the mattress I would stay again but the beds were just truly abysmal.

Of course, If you live above the second floor, there is a place to dry clothes on the small balcony. 4. Although the shower room in the bathroom is small, the bath water is hot and large enough to drain water quickly. However, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided. Please bring your own. Others include slippers and bathrobes. 5. There are free snacks and drinks for continuous living, but it will not be clear for a few days. Coffee and tea and bottled water are available daily. 6. For breakfast, order a set meal at the cafe next door. There are three kinds of set meals, but they are basically enough. Disadvantages: 1. The front desk is very small, just a small table, no lobby, only a few benches outside the door for hotel guests to rest. 2. The cleaning in the next few days is more casual, the toilet is occasionally brushed, and the shower is not carefully cleaned. Sometimes I forget to put on a new bath even if I run out of it. I wish I was able to stay longer with them as I really enjoyed it there. The guesthouse is located just by the McDonald's outside tha phae gate down a side street. The host was amazing and really took an interest in you. The rooms were lovely and large, quiet at night and comfortable. They have free fruit,tea and coffee in the lobby as well as you can purchase cold drinks and beers. I'll def be staying with them again next time I'm in Chiang Mai!

I’ll start with the positive - good location. I can’t say anything else positive about this hotel. The room itself was difficult to get to. You either go in a lift and have to walk all the way around the balcony’s, or you go up the very narrow spiral staircase. The bed looked clean but had stains. The bathroom window had plants growing inside and there were small ants EVERYWHERE. A line of them in the bathroom along the shower, all over the sink and all over the desk in the bedroom. I even had to blow one off my toothbrush. We could hear everything the family were saying next door because there was only a thin door with a small lock keeping us separated. The pool was grimy and horrible - we didn’t go near it. We’re a young travelling couple who has stayed in many cheap budget hotels but this is definitely one of the worst. We couldn’t wait to leave.

We wanted to stay through Jan.1 at our original luxury hotel, but we could not at the time of booking, nor, was there a vacancy during our stay. We looked at google maps and tried all of the places closest. No vacancies. We found this budget hotel that had ONE room left! It is in walking distance to Three Kings Monument, Phra Singh, and other Old City venues, massage spas, etc. Estia has a cottage feeling, like a hotel in rural Europe with Thai surroundings. Everything was clean, large bathroom, hot water, the usual soaps and shampoos. bring your own conditioner and shavers. We always bring our own just in case, but sometimes these budget hotels will give you them if you ask. The wifi was strong. The TV had the usual Thai channels with a few in English. The gardens were sweet with lots of flowers. The pool is clean and more lounge chairs than at some luxury hotels! The indoor dining area is large for groups and you can sit outside but it might not be convenient for toasting bread etc. We only ate breakfast, and, at 149 baht, it was very reasonable. A water jug and clean glasses, an automated americano and espresso machine, fresh milk and cream, cereals including muesli etc. White and whole wheat bread. You choose from menu pancakes or eggs of different cooking methods. Two eggs. You get a small plate of two types of fruit. If you calculate the cost of coffee, this 149 baht price is very fair. A suggestion for certain travelers: you could stay at a luxury resort a day or more for the experience then switch to Estia for the rest of the week unless you are very picky, because if you are a tourist out all day then this is just a place to sleep. We live in Chiang Mai as retirees. Staying in Estia brought me back to my youth traveling around Europe! At $27 a night, Estia may surprise you. The hotel is new and very clean. All fixtures and fittings are new and beautiful.. I guess that is the reason why the hotel is not fully occupied and in many occasions you have the entire pool and kitchen to yourself which is wonderful! The kitchen offers a few options for cooked rice and eggs. The freshly cooked fried rice and fried rice noodles are really delicious.. But the kitchen staff are not very fluent in English so they may misunderstood your orders. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed so far. Very clean and looks very nice and pleasing. I think this is newly built. Staff are so kind and accommodating. Place is close to temples, massage spas, stores, restos, old gate is 20 min walk. I don’t usually like being on the top bunk but this stay was comfortable. Beds are nice and sturdy. Big too. There is a light and a plug at the head of the bed. The bed base is like a spring bed. When you move, the bed will creak. The blanket was too thin and too short, 168 tall, barely covering the toes. There is an air conditioner that you can turn on as you please without any time limit. The room space is wide and not cramped. There is space to place things. Spotless, the bathroom is in the room. No need to use it outside the bedroom. The bathroom is wide but does not separate wet and dry sections. Soap and shampoo are provided. For towels, you must ask the staff yourself. All employees provided very good service.
