spacious rooms,
clean towels and bed linen,
well-functioning air conditioning,
the hotel has a swimming pool, which is rare for local hotels.
-
the WiFi in the room on the third floor did not work, only in the one on the first.
the room needs renovation and already looks outdated.
for breakfast, Europeans can only eat omelettes/scrambled eggs, fruit, and tea/coffee with toast. All other food is oriented for Thai and Chinese tourists.

Pool water was so dirty that we barely saw the bottow and decided to skip swimming.
Safety box not working.
Room was nice and TV was new.

I liked the hotel very much. Clean and comfortable room, good bathtub, wifi, breakfast. The receptionists were attentive. They can order a tuktuk taxi for you. Also, there are free bicycles, which was very convenient to explore the temples and stupas in Chiang Saen. The city is safe, and you don't need a lock for your bicycle.

Short staffs but well service. Hotel located right in front of Mekong River. Apparently it’s a 120 years old hotel but still in good maintenance except for the swimming pool tiles. Overall everything is pretty good.
