The entrance is quite narrow. because it is a way that looks like a village with houses along the way But it's easy to find because it's at the end of the road It looks natural, many trees, the accommodation staff are friendly.

What an absolute gem! If you are looking for peace and tranquility, outside of the city centre, then this place is for you. Ya and Marc are incredibly gracious hosts. They are so well connected within the community and helped arrange all of our exploring needs. We loved being able to escape the hustle and bustle of the city by taking a short, inexpensive, taxi/GRAB ride back to our accommodation. The key lesson we learned during our stay is to "slow down". And we did just that! Highly recommend for anyone looking to do the same.

Total false advertising. Photos on Tripadvisor not of the location. Very small homestay located in a typical low income tin roof enclave, off beat, with no amenities nearby. The "room" at the walkway to "reception, just barely fit the double bed that is less than two feet from the entry sliding glass door. Zero privacy. "Reception" is a small kitchen area. When confronted, the "owner"claimed he had no computer access, or knowledge to explain the discrepancy. Cell phone coverage was nil.

There's a reason Bambuh Boutique Homestay is rated so high. I echo so many of the comments in previous posts - whether you stay in the beautifully restored traditional teak houses with gleaming polished floors or in the more modern rooms you will find each room carefully designed and built and then beautifully maintained - and of course with a bamboo motif throughout - and you will be surrounded by nature and trees but definitely not roughing it. The garden and landscaping is beautiful again combining the modern with the traditional in a way that just works beautifully. I just loved hanging out in my room and looking at the light come in through the windows - there are also many places to sit and be still on the grounds, private space as well as group space. But you could have a beautiful facility and still have a terrible experience because of inattentive hosts - but that is not the case with your hosts Kallaya and Mark who have loved and cared for this property and the many guests who have stayed for the past nine years. Breakfast is not included in the room price but is definitely worth a few more baht either for the complete set or alacarte. They are happy to talk with guests and give recommendations in and out of town. This is a place I would happily return to unplug and rest and be surrounded by the beauty of nature as well as modern creature comforts. Highly recommend.
Response from Property: Thank you for staying with us and the spot-on description of your experience with us at Bambuh. This is exactly what we aim for our guests. We hope to meet again, you were wonderful guests.

I cannot imagine a more beautiful place to stay. The surroundings are idyllic and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had the opportunity to eat a fresh made breakfast from the hosts’ menu and then decided to request a dinner to be made for our party that evening. The northern Thailand pork dish Kallaya made was phenomenal, Mark and Kallaya made our group’s last dinner so special. A heartfelt thanks to Mark, and especially Kallaya, for helping me get to a hospital when I injured myself. They made sure I was safe and cared for , Kallaya was my helpful translator, and Kallaya got me to and from the hospital. I would never have expected such kindness but that is the way of the hosts. Bambuh Boutique Homestay is exactly that, a home that you care about with people who care about your wellbeing and our planet .
Response from Property: Many thanks for your lovely words.... It always pleases us when we learn that we offer what our guests are looking for. It obvious that we assist you when you are need!!

Forget your run of the mill chain hotels even though they do have a place sometimes. This was exactly what we were after - a relaxing few days after manic Bangkok. Mark and Kallaya are lovely people and the set-up here is very "back to nature" without roughing it in a tent! We stayed in one of the traditional wooden houses and it was fantastic. No traffic noise. Wildlife all around you. Gorgeous soundtrack while watching the sunset. If you're considering Bambuh but are worried about the remoteness Grab taxis are very easy to arrange and use for a cheap ride into town as and when required. Get your stay booked while you can. You know what I mean Mark! Best wishes for the future whatever it holds for you both!
Response from Property: Many thanks for your lovely feedback. Our pleasure to have you as our guests! Your review seems to be spot-on..... That's what we are offering at Bambuh.

…great, great place and wonderful hosts. The Resort ist modern, stylish, comfy and close to nature. Just look at the pictures - all true. Even better are the hosts: They cook for you, arrange trips, prepare breakfast and make you feel sooo welcome. Too bad we only had two days… this place is definitely worth more!
Response from Property: Wow, Frank. Lovely to get this feedback from you. We can only add to it that we also offer rooms in traditional, Thai, stilt, wooden houses....

A remote location for those who need to disconnect. However everything else is accessible by Grab so I did get some visits done along the way. A very nice setting. The owners are very welcoming. Breakfast is cooked to order every morning (delicious) and a home cooked meal every evening (also succulent). I would recommend to anyone in need of a breather.
Response from Property: Great that Bambuh's tranquility and greenery invigorated you, Eve ! Yet, the downtown area is only a mere 10 km away if you are looking for the hustle and bustle of the city.

We really enjoyed very much our stay at the Bambuh boutique home stay. The room was spacious and very nicely decorated. Clean, comfortable and especially we liked the detailed attention of the owners and the staff. It was lovely to chat with them and to get some tips and opinions. Very cozy and comfortable and we highly recommend it to other travellers to experience it.

Our stay at Bambuh Hostel was unforgettable! The houses are unique and lovingly designed. We had a large veranda which offered a wonderful view of the rainforest-like surroundings. You can listen to the birds in the hammock and relax wonderfully. The breakfast menu is small but for us an ideal mix of local dishes and some well-known menus. The owners are very sociable and told us a lot about the area. We were completely satisfied. Thank you very much.

An amazing laid back relaxed oasis 15 mins from downtown Chaing Rai. The hosts Mark and Kaya have clearly put a lot of love care in developing this place. From the moment you arrive you feel like you are somewhere special. The breakfast was delicious taken el freso under the gazebo. Kaya the host arranged a fabulous full days tour with a local driver. We loved the two days at Bambuh. We will be back (Ash & Anna)
Response from Property: Fabulous that you enjoyed staying with us so much, Ash & Anna ! We’re pleased you noticed the love we put in creating Bambuh. Please do come back, it was our pleasure to host both of you.
