Chainarai Riverside Recreation Centre is an underrated 5 Star hotel which will blow your mind! The hotel is huge with vast grounds, multiple parking lots, and lush tropical greenery. Located beside the Kok River, it is a grand architectural marvel of well appointed rooms, suitable for solo travelers, couples and families. The two bedroom suite has a King bed with bathtub, twin beds with rain shower, a living room, 3 TVs, 3 bathrooms, 3 ACs, ceiling high wardrobes, 3 huge balconies with full riverside views and amazingly firm comfortable beds. The building materials and fittings of the newly renovated hotel are of a quality that surpasses even 5 star hotels. The buffet breakfast is included in the room rates and has a generous menu to get your day started. The salad bar had the freshest vegetables I have ever eaten in any hotel....or restaurant. This hotel screams CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN...you can practically walk barefooted everywhere! For USD89/3,000 THB a night for the suite with breakfast (USD33/1,130 THB for Deluxe King), I'm wondering if they priced the room rates wrong, as other 5 star hotels would cost 2-3 times more...and their room size would not even be as big (112 sq m for the Suite, 39 sq m for King). For a peaceful and relaxing stay in Chiang Rai, Chainarai Riverside is the ultimate luxury getaway.

Because Chiang Rai is not very big, I like to walk from here to Chiang Rai Night Market, and I have encountered many good restaurants on the road. The hotel's proprietress and her son are managing it, making it full of humanity. No matter how late I get up, my mother will send care to make a hot tomato scrambled egg to your front, will not strictly control the breakfast time period, because there will always be plantains and toast at the buffet breakfast table, you can eat at any time when you are hungry, It makes you feel as relaxed as you really want to be at home. If you get up early, you can find some local Thai dishes and desserts here. Walk 10 meters to the right is a famous private museum, which I think is very convenient.

　It is located on the north side of the old airport site, a little farther from the center of the city, but the price is reasonable, one of my regular lodgings, and I use it for long stays. The hotel is overall good. Facilities: A bit old, but I still like it to be simple. The bed sheets are patched, but it does not affect the simplicity and beauty. Hygiene: Stair hygiene still needs to be done well. So does the balcony. Environment: It feels like a small villa in the mountains, with the oxygen of nature! Service: The boss's service is very good. He is always smiling and friendly. It's just a bit biased, but I really like staying there!

I'm convinced by these people who made bad reviews. You said it was average. Why don't you say that the price is average! You pay for what you pay for, and you want to enjoy premium services for less, how can there be such a good thing! And there is a night market just a few minutes away.

I wasn't expecting much based upon the price I paid and having never heard of it. Whoa. From being greeted at the lobby, receiving a lovely welcome drink along with fast and efficient check in, I was wondering if I was in the right place. I was thoroughly impressed. Upon entry into my room I was again surprised. The room was much larger than the pictures let on. The doorman was great and we ended up running into each other one night at a pub and had a few laughs. Next came breakfast which was perfect. Had something for everyone. The Sann will now be my hotel of choice in the CR area for future trips. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making the trip memorable.

The B2 Night Bazar Chiang Rai is very easy to reach from AH1. Since the hotel has no seat, we decided to have a room on the 1st floor with Twin bed, since the double beds were already forgiven on arrival day (sunday). The room and bathroom are small. It has a mirror, small TV with bad signal, water cooker, soluble coffee, 2 bottles of water, refrigerator, small pump with hocker, bath tools, air conditioning and clothing. The storage areas for 2 people with baggage are insufficient for Us. The WiFi signal is good. The room is held in grey (visual concrete), the transferred electronic wires are painted without pleasure with grey color. The staff was friendly at the check-in, the meeting with the cleaner was friendly. The bed lakes were changed, unfortunately, you should consider to be new, since there were visible places. The cleanliness in the room solara. The night of Sunday is 640. - Monday 610. - THB plus deposit 500. - THB for the keycard. Unfortunately nothing for us.
