Chainarai Riverside Recreation Centre is an underrated 5 Star hotel which will blow your mind! The hotel is huge with vast grounds, multiple parking lots, and lush tropical greenery. Located beside the Kok River, it is a grand architectural marvel of well appointed rooms, suitable for solo travelers, couples and families. The two bedroom suite has a King bed with bathtub, twin beds with rain shower, a living room, 3 TVs, 3 bathrooms, 3 ACs, ceiling high wardrobes, 3 huge balconies with full riverside views and amazingly firm comfortable beds. The building materials and fittings of the newly renovated hotel are of a quality that surpasses even 5 star hotels. The buffet breakfast is included in the room rates and has a generous menu to get your day started. The salad bar had the freshest vegetables I have ever eaten in any hotel....or restaurant. This hotel screams CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN...you can practically walk barefooted everywhere! For USD89/3,000 THB a night for the suite with breakfast (USD33/1,130 THB for Deluxe King), I'm wondering if they priced the room rates wrong, as other 5 star hotels would cost 2-3 times more...and their room size would not even be as big (112 sq m for the Suite, 39 sq m for King). For a peaceful and relaxing stay in Chiang Rai, Chainarai Riverside is the ultimate luxury getaway.

Hotels located near the city Near many famous restaurants such as Kyoto Cafe, Chiwitthaban, Manorom, Melt in Your Mouth. Outside there is parking for several cars. The inside looks a bit old. There is no elevator. There is a service selling snacks and water in front of the check-in counter.

At the time, this hotel was chosen because it was closer to our own address in Thailand! On the morning of check-in, we went to the hotel first. Would you like to check in early? However, the reply from the hotel is that they did not receive any information about our hotel reservation! Let's check it ourselves! We have mail! They said it was her home, but they didn't receive the relevant information! Can't give stay! In the end, they found the hotel order themselves! In the afternoon, when we went to check in again, the front desk clerk gave us a room that had not been cleaned yet! Finally, we went downstairs to change the house number. This hotel is good value for money , kids pool and water park good for children . Restaurant food cheap and good quality . I have a picky toddler who only drinks freshly squeezed orange juice . Only problem is that it’s impossible to order a freshly squeezed orange juice . They only have orange juice from a bottle and they tell you it’s fresh , but it’s not , I ordered again then they give me orange fruit not juice . So if you have orange why you cannnot squeeze the juice .

The price of this hotel is too high! It is not far from Lan, Black Temple, and the city center. During the stay, except for our 3 Chinese, all foreigners. The bed in the room was super big and very comfortable. The room is spacious, comfortable and clean. The whole hotel is like living in a garden, very close to the swimming pool, and the water quality is very clean. The restaurant only has breakfast, no dinner. It's only 360rmb per night, it's really delicious!

I wasn't expecting much based upon the price I paid and having never heard of it. Whoa. From being greeted at the lobby, receiving a lovely welcome drink along with fast and efficient check in, I was wondering if I was in the right place. I was thoroughly impressed. Upon entry into my room I was again surprised. The room was much larger than the pictures let on. The doorman was great and we ended up running into each other one night at a pub and had a few laughs. Next came breakfast which was perfect. Had something for everyone. The Sann will now be my hotel of choice in the CR area for future trips. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making the trip memorable.

A quiet and tranquil environment, very peaceful likewise in a garden with nature. Services tip top from receptionists down to room cleaniness. Good breakfast for east and west, with fresh salads and fruits. Need to walk for 5 minutes to main street near the night market via a back door alleyway. From main entrance about 10 minutes. During the day via backdoor alleyway but after dusk is a challenge for some. To resolve can use bolt private hire for 65 Thai bahts one way in the night. I try it and the alleyway was well lighted and was less threatening. There is a mini mart along the way. Stayed three days and extended two more days, a total of five days given ideal conditions.

Almost everything here is great. Lovely grounds, clear pool and everything is exceptionally clean. Breakfast is very good and staff are pleasant. The only downside is location and even that is not a huge issue. Walking to the centre would take about 15-20 minutes but there are also a number of shuttle times. These are mostly morning and evening with a gap in the middle. As I say, this may not be an issue for everyone but overall this is very good value.
