The boss is very nice and can speak Chinese. We booked the bus for us to Chiang Mai the next day as soon as we arrived. We also called for a taxi when we went out. The price was reasonable and would not kill customers. It is very close to Singha Park, and it takes only five minutes to walk. Breakfast is a semi-buffet style. Eggs, rice with soup and pancakes are available for order. You can only choose one, sandwiches, milk, juice, and coffee. The downside is that the location is relatively off, it is difficult to get a car, there is no place to eat around, and the shower in the bathroom is very difficult to use.

A motel, the overall environment is good, close to the White Temple. The room facilities are basically complete. The sanitation is average, and the bathroom smells bad. The two customer service aunts have a very good attitude. There is no breakfast, no electric kettle, please bring enough water if you want to stay.

Chainarai Riverside Recreation Centre is an underrated 5 Star hotel which will blow your mind! The hotel is huge with vast grounds, multiple parking lots, and lush tropical greenery. Located beside the Kok River, it is a grand architectural marvel of well appointed rooms, suitable for solo travelers, couples and families. The two bedroom suite has a King bed with bathtub, twin beds with rain shower, a living room, 3 TVs, 3 bathrooms, 3 ACs, ceiling high wardrobes, 3 huge balconies with full riverside views and amazingly firm comfortable beds. The building materials and fittings of the newly renovated hotel are of a quality that surpasses even 5 star hotels. The buffet breakfast is included in the room rates and has a generous menu to get your day started. The salad bar had the freshest vegetables I have ever eaten in any hotel....or restaurant. This hotel screams CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN...you can practically walk barefooted everywhere! For USD89/3,000 THB a night for the suite with breakfast (USD33/1,130 THB for Deluxe King), I'm wondering if they priced the room rates wrong, as other 5 star hotels would cost 2-3 times more...and their room size would not even be as big (112 sq m for the Suite, 39 sq m for King). For a peaceful and relaxing stay in Chiang Rai, Chainarai Riverside is the ultimate luxury getaway.

- new facility
- big room (family room) with 1 queen size bed + 1 bed (3'),
- 1 big sofa (L shape)
- 1 big smart tv (42”, I guess)
- good high speed wifi (download approx 350-380 mbps which is really nice for gaming/streaming/watching)
But few things you might need to consideration
- small toilet and not much shelf space inside
- no breakfast (but it's ok, we can find the breakfast outside which is fine)

next time for visiting Chiang Rai, I'll choose this hotel again

GGuest UserA very pleasant stay. I stepped off the bus at the station and needed a place quickly as I could tell it would rain soon! Found Bed Friends about 150m away. It's a great place, feels new, is very clean, especially the bathrooms and public areas. The rooms are spotless. I was in the four bed male dorm, it lacked a window but was clean and very comfortable. A locker for my 35 litre backpack and super fast broadband. Breakfast, not sure if this is advertised as being provided. There was certainly toast and jam available and I had a couple of slices but clearly it's not enough and I took my matutinal repast elsewhere. The girl at reception is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area especially when it comes to onward travel. I totally recommend this excellent hostel which is both central and yet quiet so you can get some rest.

JJ1406GZscottkI wasn't expecting much based upon the price I paid and having never heard of it. Whoa. From being greeted at the lobby, receiving a lovely welcome drink along with fast and efficient check in, I was wondering if I was in the right place. I was thoroughly impressed. Upon entry into my room I was again surprised. The room was much larger than the pictures let on. The doorman was great and we ended up running into each other one night at a pub and had a few laughs. Next came breakfast which was perfect. Had something for everyone. The Sann will now be my hotel of choice in the CR area for future trips. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making the trip memorable.

IInspire28916027656This was in a good location, close to the market and bus station. The place was very clean. Each person was provided a bottle of water in the fridge. There was a freezer as well which was great. Breakfast was good with a nice selection. They even had free bikes you could rent. They also had a self serve washer which was 40THB and dryer which was 60THB. There was a small pool in the lobby that was only open from 8a-8p. The only negative was that it required a 500THB deposit in cash which could be a problem if it's your last day in Thailand. For those familiar with hotels in the US, it's comparable to one of the nicer Comfort Inns.

GGuest UserA quaint hotel with a nice quiet area surrounding us. We got one of the renovated rooms which felt comfy and very inviting. The bathroom was our favorite part, as it was spacy and it seemed like they really thought about the design to appeal to their guests. The bedroom also had an outdoor patio which was nice. The breakfast was also quite good. It was also easy to walk to other locations for shops or eating. The only downsides we had that since we were close to the pool, we could hear children playing at 6:30 hrs, which I think is too early for the pool to open. Also, the staff did not give us Wi-Fi passwords, but it was OK because we weren't in the room too often. But overall, an amazing place to stay!

I have a picky toddler who only drinks freshly squeezed orange juice . Only problem is that it’s impossible to order a freshly squeezed orange juice . They only have orange juice from a bottle and they tell you it’s fresh , but it’s not , I ordered again then they give me orange fruit not juice . So if you have orange why you cannnot squeeze the juice .

GGuest UserGood accommodation with many types of rooms. There are only 3 en suite bathrooms. There are 4 private rooms in the shared water and a dorm room for 6 people. Below there is a cool cafe, sipping wine, eating delicious food. The restaurant has a very good atmosphere. The shop has music every Friday and Saturday. There is a private room To sit and talk or meeting The shop is decorated with only cool vintage items. There is a book hanging from the ceiling. It's a very beautiful design book.

MMaking memories everyday ~The hotel is at an excellent location, very near to the night bazaar and weekend market. There are lots of restaurants nearby. Check-in was quick, and breakfast was good. The staff were polite and helpful.
However, there's always room for improvements. The room had a weird smell, and AC was very noisy. Also, there was no hand washing soap in the bathroom. The hotel can work a bit more on the maintenance of rooms.

JJIPINGThe owner is very attentive and very attentive. The cool clothes are very convenient. It is 12 minutes walk from the station and 10 minutes away from the troubles. There is a free drink and breakfast at 50 baht, which is very affordable. The only drawback is that the toilet ring is broken and not repaired in time, and the water leakage under the washbasin is not repaired.

GGuest UserAlmost everything here is great. Lovely grounds, clear pool and everything is exceptionally clean. Breakfast is very good and staff are pleasant. The only downside is location and even that is not a huge issue. Walking to the centre would take about 15-20 minutes but there are also a number of shuttle times. These are mostly morning and evening with a gap in the middle. As I say, this may not be an issue for everyone but overall this is very good value.
