Loved this hotel - its more expensive that I would normally go for, but I wanted to treat myself. The room was spotless and the bed wonderfully supportive and comfy. The staff were friendly without exception, but my favourite memory was sitting outside eating breakfast each day with the wind gently rustling the trees, the birds singing and the gentle warmth of the sun heating the city up - and this is despite the hotel being very close to the airport and a busy road. A real oasis of tranquility. The gym equipment needs replacing as the cross trainer wasn't working and the bike machine was a bit long in the tooth, but I still found it helpful for keeping in shape while away and the staff were so helpful with showing me how it all worked. The final lovely element is the rooftop restaurant - gorgeous!!

Unfortunately, the Mae Ping River in Chiang Mai suffered the worst flood in ten years. The hotel management staff personally assisted us in the follow-up arrangements, which was very good. Will stay again when I come back, the photos they post are real.

Stopped here a few times, mainly because my Thai in-laws love the place, only because it is so close to the airport. Every visit something was wrong!! Not exactly the cheapest accommodation either.The toilet would not flush in one room, the taps at the bathroom sink turned with the handles in another room. We could not sleep because of the road noise (we were on the 5th floor!) in another room. The wi-fi was non-existent in one room.There was no hot water in another room. Every room the shower trays filled up with soapy water and was very slippery; dangerous in fact. The breakfast was OK for me, nothing flash. Toast, jam, juice, tea, coffee, milo, all the basics. Not real sure why people were climbing through the window to get here though. One lady I saw scraped all the brown off her toast, so that is was just white!!?? (Something to do with Thais believing that toast causes cancer I was told). Loved the sign beside the toaster that actually worked (the other one was broken on every visit and was just sitting there collecting dust). No cancer from that one! Words to this effect: ”Please do not put butter and jam on bread before placing in toaster.” At least the beer from reception 'fridge was cheaper than most shops. Nice and cold too. Gotta love it!

We spent a few days in August in this hotel and the truth is that it was excellent value for money. The friendly and decisive staff. Location in the square of Chiang Mai, totally central. On the other hand, the room was cozy, and the pool, although logical because we are in Thailand in the north, there were a lot of mosquitoes, it was clean and the same as the room, cozy and clean. There is a kitten that is part of the hotel super funny We recommend it to spend a few days in Chiang Mai it meets the essential requirements of quality price location We would return for sure

They provide necessary items that you need such as bathroom kits, coffee/tea maker, refrigerator, hair dryer, and the working desk. - Breakfast: They provide small buffet which has salad, desserts, fruits, milk, cornflakes, coffee & tea, etc. And, you can order more food such as boiled rice, fried egg at a la carte. - Staff were friendly and accommodate anything that you ask you. They also provide small corner with threadmills for you to exercise. It is budget hotel that is value for money. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to return soon.

If I totally approve and enforce the prohibition of making noise after ten o’clock in the evening, it would be too harsh to speak quietly during the rest of the time. The front desk with a designated grade ran over at every turn to signal us to lighten it. Wouldn't this affect the mood of my guest. Besides! The hotel is cleaning the room from 12 to 2 o'clock every day. The sound of vacuuming is loud! ! Doesn't this affect the normal nap children's work and rest? After a while, cleaning is not provided, and the customer first is a bit weak. There are many foreign guests in ps hotel, but few Chinese guests. In fact, I am still a bit dissatisfied, but overall it is not bad. The environment likes the room and the pool as well!

This is a brandnew hotel from the Nantra chain that has approximately 15 hotels. Be aware that on some booking sites the location is not indicated correctly. As the name suggests it is definitely at the river and NOT near the airport. By the time of writing of this review the location on the map still is wrong. I arrived early in the hotel, but could check in anyway 15 minutes later. Guang, reception manager arranged this. She was a very helpfull staff member with a great sense of service during my short stay. In my opinion the quality of this hotel is of very good standard.. Excellent price/quality ratio. There was a special promotion. The staff did everything to make my stay as pleasant as possible. Apart from Guang, also other staff (bell boy , housekeeping, reception, restaurant staff) always were very friendly and helpful. Language problems I did not encounter, though I heard some other people talk about this. Great thing : coming back from Doi Suthep, I activated the airco and it had a problem. It was just half an hour before my checkout, they inspected, which took about 15 minutes and it needed repair. Guanf offered me immediately another room and later checkout. Great service, I had more than enough time to shower and pack. The rooms definitely were of very good quality, as you may expect from a 4 star property. Great matrasses and pillows, very good bathrooms with great shower. Perfect airconditioning. View from my room was just to the street, but I guess the view from the rooms at the other side is much nicer. My only tiny negative point : there are no bedlights, so if you want to read you have to put on the big room light, so some reading lights would be a good idea. Cleanliness and hygiëne were excellent. The swimming pool was tiny and located strangely between a part of the building and the restaurant. I felt the temperature of the water, it was good: not to warm not to cold, so if you want to freshen up, it is very good. There is a nice garden, leading to the river. with seating options. Breakfast was ok, from a 4 star property you might expect a bit more, especially when it is about international dishes. But this might change, once the hotel gets more guest coming from other countries. Omelet or other kind of egg was prepared freshly. There was toast bread, nfortunately no wholewheat bread. And as usual : there was yoghurt but only with added sugar. I wonder why. There are more and more guests who want to eat yoghurt with natural flavour and without added sugar. Coffee was good, because it came not from a tank but was freshly prepared, cup by cup. All in all the breakfast was ok, but it could do with some more variety and ameliorations. Location is ok, but if you definitely want to be on walking distance from the Night Bazar, this might be not your place. If you don't mind taking the red cabs that frequently come along, the trip is just a few minutes ( 30 baht for 1 person). So if you prefer a quiet and relaxing locatio
