Thapae6ty Hostel

Night Bazaar Area
Located in the alley Walk about 100 meters from the main road. It's a bit difficult for cars to enter. There is no place to make a U-turn. The walk-in price is 200 baht, cheaper than booking through various websites. Walk to Tha Phae Gate. and Warorot Market. Sleeps in a female room with 4 beds. The bed has no curtains. There is a light and a plug at the head of the bed. The bed base is like a spring bed. When you move, the bed will creak. The blanket was too thin and too short, 168 tall, barely covering the toes. There is an air conditioner that you can turn on as you please without any time limit. The room space is wide and not cramped. There is space to place things. Spotless, the bathroom is in the room. No need to use it outside the bedroom. The bathroom is wide but does not separate wet and dry sections. Soap and shampoo are provided. For towels, you must ask the staff yourself. All employees provided very good service.

I booked this hotel through Tripmasters based on location and reviews. Close (10 minute) taxi ride from airport (250 bhat). Check in was quick with cold juice provided. There was always someone at reception early in morning and late at night. There are 2 elevators although a little small and slow but wasn’t much of an issue as hotel wasn’t full. Room was spacious with platform bed, which was on the firm side with decent pillows. Mini fridge and 2 water bottles provided per day. Not much space to put away clothes as there was no dresser or counter space. Bathroom was spacious with bathtub and shower. Shower pressure was good, although stall was a little small and opened out to toilette. Wifi was spotty but worked for the most part. AC worked well especially since 2nd key can be left in room. We didn’t eat any meals there since there were so many options near the hotel that were cheaper. Pros: location, good AC, room size Cons: spotty wifi, small shower
The Signature Hotel @ Thapae

We loved the location just outside the old city wall and few hundred meters from Thae Pae gate. The hotel was very quiet as it was slightly offset from the main road. The service was excellent from the attendant, a lady named Aom. She was very friendly and helpful. We didn't give a five rating because the shower was not always hot. Later in the day we only got warm water but perhaps the meter that we aren't accustomed to needed to be adjusted? We didn't inquire about it as it didn't bother us too much. The room was clean and a nice size..We would stay here again, recognizing the hotel is rated a 3.4 star it is a great deal and location and service as good as anywhere.
Chiang Mai Thai House,Thapae

Great location for the festival over the last couple of days! It’s basic but adequate for needs. The only downside in that the pool doesn’t really get much sun so if you want you use it for swimming it’s fine but not so great if you want to sunbathe. Staff polite and friendly. Recommend for 1-3 nights for convenience and good price.

This hotel is highly recommended. Although there are not many rooms and the hotel is not large, it feels like home. The room is large enough and the service is good. There is no elevator, but the waiter will take the luggage upstairs. The little one is straight out of the road leading to Taipei Gate, with Taiyu Temple on the side. The online specialty KP evaluation specialty chain store is only 5 minutes away, not far from the Valolo Market, Night Market, and Anushan Market. It's convenient to travel, especially using Grad to call a car. It takes only a few minutes to reach Tesco hypermarket, and the fare of Suntech is around 80-100 baht. The little girl at the front desk is very nice, responsive and can solve it properly! Worthy of praise! There are some disadvantages: the sound of the air conditioner in the bedroom is relatively loud (most hotels in Chiang Mai have this problem). When we sleep, we turn on the air conditioner in the living room, and the bedroom air conditioner can be turned off to be quiet. There is no hot water in the bathroom faucet, which is not convenient for boys to wash and shave in the morning. There are fewer utensils in the kitchen, especially a milk pan is too small, and you need to divide the food several times. There are front and rear balconies. It is convenient for friends who smoke, just don't smoke in the room! Will consider this hotel next time to Chiang Mai.
Stay with Me Guesthouse

The location was perfect, the room was clean, the owners were friendly and the place was modern. I really enjoyed my stay at Stay With Me Guesthouse. I’m not sure about the WiFi as I didn’t use it, but other guests said it was fine. I stayed here for two days as I visited Celebrity Ink for a cover-up tattoo and when I arrived back at the Guesthouse after a ten-hour session, the owner was waiting for me which was nice. Laundry is expensive at 50 baht a kilo (usually around 30 baht) but the owner charged me half price as I only had a few items. Booked an extra day here and was happy with the Guesthouse overall.
