A 5 stars boutique hotel located in old town, very convinence👍 Right in front is the walking street/ open market on Sunday. There is a school opposite to the hotel. Its rather noisy in the morning as my room is facing to the school, however trouist like us usually wake up early so no big deal. All snackssss/drinksss in the mini bar are free👍👍 includes cokes, beers, 6 bottles of water, lemon tea, chipsss, chocolate. 😅 😁 Afternoon tea by the pool is free too! Very good for those who want to relax in the hotel Staffs are very friendly👍👍

Arriving here after a long travel day was like seeing an oasis, the large white gates and hotel staff greeted us - taking our bags and directing us where to sign in - all in a very quiet setting (the hotel is always quiet - very little outside noises and staff/guests are considerate of the peaceful atmosphere). Extremely clean, pool was relaxing and refreshing. The grounds was like walking amongst a museum with lighting at night. We had a suite for 4 of us - two master bedrooms joined by a large comfortable living room and a private covered deck where we spent much time reading, sleeping, catching up on our jet lagged bodies. The location is at the heart of many temples and in old city, foot rubs, places to eat, and a wonderful laundry lady across the street who had our clothes cleaner than we've ever had them in 24 hours. The restaurant was elegant, quiet, dinner was accompanied by local live music which was just the right volume. When we return, we will stay here again.

The rooms are really beautiful and clean. We were showed to our room upon arrival and were welcomed with champagne and fruits in the room. Drinks in the fridge and snacks were complimentary and they had bathtub in the balcony. There may be bugs at night so do remember to close the balcony door. Public pool is small but nice, not much guests using it. The breakfast is so awesome with exquisite plating and good service, not to be missed. For afternoon tea, we only managed to try it on the first day as we were out the next few days. We were also gifted sandwiches when we were leaving, not to mention it was so nice. Will definitely visit again when I go Chiangmai.

We spent a few days in August in this hotel and the truth is that it was excellent value for money. The friendly and decisive staff. Location in the square of Chiang Mai, totally central. I arrived to the hotel and on the outside it looked really nice, and the staff was very nice. The girl who checked me in thow wasn't that great to understand english, so I was lucky to speak some thai. The didn't help you with your bags up to the room, but I didn't mind because I travel with good working bags that has wheels. When I came in the room the first thing that hit me was a bad smell from the toilet. (I was given a room on the top floor 608 to be precise. The size of the room was ok, but the furniture I could see how dirty and worn down rhey where. It looked like something the bought on a fleemarket. Further on I tried the bed it was the worst matress I have ever slept on, not only that the hotel is next to a road and at night it was so noicy from traffic so I didn't get much sleep. Sometimes I woke up and thought I had a motorbike in my room. I had booked a stay for 5 nights, but after 1 night I decided to move. So after one more painful night I checked out from this hotel and will NEVER return again.

Stopped here a few times, mainly because my Thai in-laws love the place, only because it is so close to the airport. Every visit something was wrong!! Not exactly the cheapest accommodation either.The toilet would not flush in one room, the taps at the bathroom sink turned with the handles in another room. We could not sleep because of the road noise (we were on the 5th floor!) in another room. The wi-fi was non-existent in one room.There was no hot water in another room. Every room the shower trays filled up with soapy water and was very slippery; dangerous in fact. The breakfast was OK for me, nothing flash. Toast, jam, juice, tea, coffee, milo, all the basics. Not real sure why people were climbing through the window to get here though. One lady I saw scraped all the brown off her toast, so that is was just white!!?? (Something to do with Thais believing that toast causes cancer I was told). Loved the sign beside the toaster that actually worked (the other one was broken on every visit and was just sitting there collecting dust). No cancer from that one! Words to this effect: ”Please do not put butter and jam on bread before placing in toaster.” At least the beer from reception 'fridge was cheaper than most shops. Nice and cold too. Gotta love it!

We chose this place because it’s in our favourite area of Chiang Mai right next to Wat Chang Man in the north central part of the square, it is very affordable and it had a pool. We stayed here twice during our trip in June 2022 (4-5 nights). We weren’t disappointed. This is a really nice place with areas to sit, eat, drink, hang out and meet fellow travellers in the restaurant area in the lobby/entrance. They even had some games to play here (Jenga, etc.). The pool is nice, clean and goes deep. The rooms are nice and clean as well. The first time we stayed in a double/twin room with fan and second time we opted for a triple room with A/C. We were able to park our scooters out front and didn’t have any issues. There is nice cheap coin laundry right next door where you can do your own laundry.

The staff demanded that we pay 1000 baht because the sheets were dirty, they could just put it in the wash and it would come off. And there is no hot water in the shower, only lukewarm. We asked that they try to put the clothes in the machine and use chlorine. They said that laundry will cost us 120 and then if it is not cleaned we will still have to pay another 1000. The location is on the side of Wat Chiang Man, just by the river. It is actually the same as the picture. You have to take off your shoes on the first floor to get to the room. There is no inherent staff, only an old couple. The English is not good, but they are very friendly. There is no staff at the front desk at night, and the keys are collected directly at the front desk. I personally like this self-service, no deposit is required. The standard room is very special, the bed is large, there are floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides, and both have balconies. It is facing the road, a bit noisy, the room has a refrigerator, no slippers, no hot water bottle, no durian and smoking are not allowed, the deluxe double bed room can see the Buddha statue, but the window cannot be opened, there are 7 Aberdeen convenience stores and barbecue shops opposite. But you have to bypass the river to get there. Going out to the right, there are 7 Zai and Night Market. It is within 10 minutes' drive from Changkang Road Night Market and JJ Market. Overall is good, recommend staying.

QUU Hotel in Chiang Mai was the best hotel by far we have stayed in during our holiday in Thailand. The staff are fantastic and helpful and go out of their way to help you and make your stay one to remember. The rooms are almost brand new, large in size, clean and very modern and stylish. The breakfast is generous and fresh, and their cafe and coffee is also excellent. We highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Chiang Mai, and now wished we’d stayed in Chiang Mai at the QUU hotel longer than the 4 nights we booked. It is incredible value for what you pay. We’ll definitely be back to stay!

Overall, I am very satisfied. There are many delicious foods nearby. It is really good to be able to book such a price in the ancient city. There is free coffee ➕ instant noodles can be eaten, and the front desk service is very good. The only downside is that the sound insulation is too poor, basically someone can hear clearly in the corridor. But overall it is very recommended, the price is very high, much better than the Sleep Mai who has lived before? Much better.
