A 5 stars boutique hotel located in old town, very convinence👍 Right in front is the walking street/ open market on Sunday. There is a school opposite to the hotel. Its rather noisy in the morning as my room is facing to the school, however trouist like us usually wake up early so no big deal. All snackssss/drinksss in the mini bar are free👍👍 includes cokes, beers, 6 bottles of water, lemon tea, chipsss, chocolate. 😅 😁 Afternoon tea by the pool is free too! Very good for those who want to relax in the hotel Staffs are very friendly👍👍

Actually it is my second time staying at this hotel. The rooms have good A/C, shower, bath products, like toothbrushing sets. Comfortable bed, and a decent breakfast with a variety of products/meals. There is kind of a ”moldy” smell from the carpets, but it did not bother me so much since I was traveling outside the hotel most of the time.

It is romantic with the night lighting. There's quite a selection of western, Thai and Chinese food from the hotel breakfast buffet.

We spent a few days in August in this hotel and the truth is that it was excellent value for money. The friendly and decisive staff. Location in the square of Chiang Mai, totally central. I arrived to the hotel and on the outside it looked really nice, and the staff was very nice. The girl who checked me in thow wasn't that great to understand english, so I was lucky to speak some thai. The didn't help you with your bags up to the room, but I didn't mind because I travel with good working bags that has wheels. When I came in the room the first thing that hit me was a bad smell from the toilet. (I was given a room on the top floor 608 to be precise. The size of the room was ok, but the furniture I could see how dirty and worn down rhey where. It looked like something the bought on a fleemarket. Further on I tried the bed it was the worst matress I have ever slept on, not only that the hotel is next to a road and at night it was so noicy from traffic so I didn't get much sleep. Sometimes I woke up and thought I had a motorbike in my room. I had booked a stay for 5 nights, but after 1 night I decided to move. So after one more painful night I checked out from this hotel and will NEVER return again.

Stopped here a few times, mainly because my Thai in-laws love the place, only because it is so close to the airport. Every visit something was wrong!! Not exactly the cheapest accommodation either.The toilet would not flush in one room, the taps at the bathroom sink turned with the handles in another room. We could not sleep because of the road noise (we were on the 5th floor!) in another room. The wi-fi was non-existent in one room.There was no hot water in another room. Every room the shower trays filled up with soapy water and was very slippery; dangerous in fact. The breakfast was OK for me, nothing flash. Toast, jam, juice, tea, coffee, milo, all the basics. Not real sure why people were climbing through the window to get here though. One lady I saw scraped all the brown off her toast, so that is was just white!!?? (Something to do with Thais believing that toast causes cancer I was told). Loved the sign beside the toaster that actually worked (the other one was broken on every visit and was just sitting there collecting dust). No cancer from that one! Words to this effect: ”Please do not put butter and jam on bread before placing in toaster.” At least the beer from reception 'fridge was cheaper than most shops. Nice and cold too. Gotta love it!

The hotel has a very small room inventory so it is advisable to book early. All rooms are facing the rectangular swimming pool and it is a pretty sight to look at. The hotel is designed centric, cool and chic. It is inclined towards the clean line, black & white and minimalist design concept. The room is nicely decorated, not luxurious but functional and with some stylish elements such as the motif floor tiles and cement screeded ceilings. The bathroom is spacious, comprises only standing shower and WC. The glass panel can be shielded just by pressing a button. Pretty cool. The wash basin is located outside the bathroom, next to the open concept hanging wardrobe. The breakfast is charged at 250 Baht per person. Simple, adequate, value for money for the price that you paid for. It is an a la carte buffet and you can order as many as you wish. Nothing extravagant so do manage your expectations accordingly. The hotel is slightly more expensive than most of their competitors but it is still reasonably priced so if you are looking for a designed centric hotel with a pool, this is it!

I stayed here for 3 nights on a solo trip and because it wasn’t my first time to the city, I was rather specific about where I wanted to stay, and I chose this hotel for its location in old town near to the many cafés I had wanted to visit. First app - the service. It was amazing! I was scheduled to arrive at 10pm and although the late check in procedure was originally a personal email on unlocking various locks to get the room as the lobby that connects to the bar was closed, after I responded, they actually said they will have someone to wait for me at the reception to help me with my check in. Already a very positive note even before I arrive! Check in was swift and the room was exactly like shown. Its not a style for all, but I love it. Its simple, classically modern and functional. My only gripe is that there are not enough power points near the main bed (or you will Need a longer wire) so you really have to charge your phones at the TV Consol (with my short wire) which means that you don’t get to have your phone right besides your bed. The bed is Asian style firm so if you like it cushy, then its not for you. The pillows were also not that ok, even though with 4, its not the firm kind so i did have trouble sleeping. But if you like fluffy kind, these are your heaven. The bathroom had all the amenities needed - toothbrush, cotton, et al., but no mouthwash, so bring your own. There is also handwash next to sink and a good hair dryer provided. Shower pressure was surprisingly good and the wall mounted heater means u can tune the hot water manually to your liking. The location is superb as its near Thae Pae gate and You can really explore the old Town easily within walking distance from this location. The hotel also has a coffee bar with very cool drinks.

I was walking around with another backpacker after we checked straight out of our original hostel due to it being well below par.  wed just got of the sleeper train and searched chiangmai walking with heavy backpacks long story short we found this place and its perfect, 3 min walk from all thw nightlife but also cant hear anything from hostel  dorm was really clean so was toilet shower, worth mentioning the shower is one of those that are in the same room as toilet and it was pretty small so toilet would get wet. (private shower/toilet for dorm room) also we were on 4th floor with no lift, but thats no really a big deal. worth mentioning their are no lockers in thw room, however there are small lockers downstairs you can rent for 20baht a day. they give you a key but you can also add your own padlock to the latch private parking for bikes in the courtyard check in lady was very nice  may be worthy to know this is a basic hostel for a bed, not social or any sort of vibe at all good place if you just want quality sleep amd to unwind yourself

Double room with tax about 140 nights, with balcony, air-conditioning, refrigerator (only refrigerated) Check-in during the Water Lantern Festival on 11/12. At the front desk, there is an elder sister who has a good personality. If she does n’t know the city, where to go to take the free shopping mall bus, she will tell us in detail about the round-trip time, and she will also give us reasonable suggestions for itinerary activities, and tell me where I have Look at the float parade, where can you see the water lanterns and the sky lanterns, it is not ridiculous at all. The entire hotel is very close to the Tapei Gate and it is a five minute walk. I don't recommend everyone to book the street. The sound of vehicles on the road at night is too noisy. I was awakened by a motorcycle at midnight in Phuket. Although the room facilities are old, they are all very clean. There is hot water for 24 hours, there is a balcony for drying clothes, and the glass windows are too clean, so that I thought that there was no floor glass door directly hit. If you do n’t have breakfast, it ’s not difficult to find out for yourself. There is a shop where you can buy breakfast. Motorcycle bike rental is available. Going back at 10 pm, swiping the access card to enter the hotel is very safe. There are also boys on duty in the yard. The entire hotel is only one of us, a Chinese, and other old European and American couples who are very friendly. Everyone is quiet in and out. Since I sleep on the list every day, no one will come to clean and put mineral water, and go out to get cold water by myself every day. This is not a big problem. Because other people say that the air conditioner is noisy, it is because the facilities have been used for a long time. When the room temperature is high, the sound will be loud when it is started. If you are tired after playing, you will not know. There is a microwave in the other hall that can be borrowed. The boss is an old lady and the people are very nice. If you are not very particular about it, consider this one. It ’s easy to go out and take a taxi. Taobao ’s day trips can also be picked up at your door. It ’s not convenient for you to take it home.

What a surprise! I am hesitant to read the pictures😔 It’s actually super awesome and has just been refurbished! It's not the same as the picture. The beds and bedding towels are all new. It saves a lot of transportation costs two steps away from Thapae Gate. The breakfast is also great! All in all, it's great value!

Another awesome stay at Minicost apartment and guesthouse. Centrally located near Tha Pae gate and in a quiet soi this place is brilliant.
