A Lanna Boutique House

Chiang Mai Ancient City
The room we booked has a balcony. The space is quite large and the bed is huge. Both of us slept very spaciously. There are disposable supplies and a refrigerator, which is cleaned every day and two new bottles of water are put in it. The location is excellent. The road in front of the hotel is quiet except during the rush hour. The must-visit temples are only a few hundred meters away, and some are diagonally opposite. Walk to the left at the intersection and you will find the night market, which also has a 711. There is another 711 100 meters to the right. We rented a motorcycle and parked it in the wrong place. The Chinese boss helped us negotiate with the police and drove us to the police station to deal with it. Without his help, we didn't know what to do. Thank you!
Gordnuea Boutique House

Chiang Mai Ancient City
The Gordneua is a small family run hotel set back from a quiet road, but very central within the old quarter of Chiang Mai and its attractions. From the road you can not see it as it is at the end of a 30m drive (there is a sign at the entrance), set behind houses closer to the road. Therefore you would be forgiven for overlooking it, but you will be missing out on visiting a very special place. The hotel is a mixture of guest accommodation and the owner's quarters, set like a horse shoe around a beautiful and tranquil courtyard, where there are tables to eat your breakfast (excellent, very cheap, and huge quantity), have a cup of coffee (Nong, one of the owners is a skilled barista who even roasts his own beans), or just generally have a quiet moment of relaxation. Rooms are very clean, spacious and have very powerful air conditioning. I found the bed very comfortable and noticed how good the quality of the linen was. However, the thing that really makes this hotel so special is the proprietors, Nom (Mrs) and Nong (Mr). They are both so friendly and can not do enough for you, and they clearly want you to enjoy your stay with them. In some way, it felt like staying with your favourite relatives. This hotel was excellent value for money. It is described as 2* but I would rate it 3*, and a very good one at that. If ever I was in Chiang Mai again, this is the only hotel I would go to, not only because of how comfortable and pleasant I found it, but because I would want to see Nom and Nong again
J's Cafe and Poshtel

Chiang Mai Ancient City
The decoration style is indeed very Nordic, and the rooms are all decorated with green leaves. B&B style, so the basic facilities are not too complete, bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The room is very clean and hygienic as a whole, but it is difficult for Southeast Asian countries not to be bothered by mosquitoes, and occasionally you may have to be calm when you see cockroaches. A refrigerator is provided, and it is recommended that everything be eaten or put in the refrigerator. This is a piece of advice for all places to stay! Three breakfast options are provided in the morning. The best ones are assorted fruits and yogurt, as well as Thai sausages and glutinous rice balls or American breakfast. No swimming pool, easy to find food around, good location The fly in the ointment, the corner of the bed in the room is protruding, and it becomes a murder weapon in minutes. We both hit the bruises on our legs, and we can only cover it with a towel~~
All in 1 Guesthouse

Chiang Mai Ancient City
My sister and I stayed at this guesthouse and had a wonderful time. Our room was clean and had a surprising amount of floorspace. The owner and managers of the hotel were very friendly and had good tips about the city. The location was great! I is inside the old previously-walled portion of Chiang Mai. We were within walking distance of nearly all the good temples and excellent restaurants and bars. This is great for a solo traveler, friends or a couple traveling together.
Thongran's House

Chiang Mai Ancient City
It's in a small branch of the main road on the street. It's not on the side of the street. When you walk to the side, you will see the wall paintings of their house. When you see it, walk along it for about 10 meters, on the right hand side. During the stay at a B&B run by a family, I met the host, the hostess, their two children and their pet ”Mali”, also known as Jasmine. There is free airport transfer for a two-night stay. The airport transfer fee for a one-night stay is 150 yuan. The room is indeed relatively small, but it is very close to the Chengmen Night Market and many attractions are within walking distance. Overall, I am satisfied.
