Wow… where do I even begin. Firstly the hotel exteriors are beautiful. The pool is serene, the designs are lovely and traditional Thai style. The rooms are spacious with a large bed. Very quiet and great sleep even though we were jet lagged. Breakfast is superb, lots of choices even for vegetarians and vegans like us. The location is superb, less than 10 minutes from the airport, right by the old city, walking distance to a couple of night markets. The best part of our stay was the Loy Krathong festivities. We were lucky to be there during the period this year. In the morning the hotel would provide free Krathong making activities with delicious Thai snacks and desserts and in the evening provided food, music, the lucky draw, lantern decorations, and all the Loy Krathong activities. Where we felt the service went above and beyond was during this evening party. We had come to Chiang mai to see our Thai side of our family including our 90 year old grandma who is in a wheelchair. She’s been sick for a while. She as well as our two other family members were allowed to participate and eat and dance for free of charge even though they didn’t have to do that. Furthermore the staff made sure that she had a great time - we haven’t seen yai (Thai word for grandma) this happy in so long especially since she got sick. She was dancing and smiling in the wheelchair! The lady who MC’d as well as the security guard went above and beyond. And all the staff there (there were tens of them!) even waved in a line as her car left. The other members of the family said that we must come back here next year for Loy Krathong so that’s what we will do. Thank you again to all the staff. You made the stay very special, made my family feel emotional.

I’m in love with this place. Really convenient location and, walking into the property, you feel like you’re in another world. It’s a gorgeous and peaceful place. I have never stayed anywhere with such thoughtful attention to detail. For example: they gave me a “welcome back” cake as well as a hand-written note on my most recent visit which was impressive considering my last stay was almost 4 years ago! Upon checkout, they prepared a little sandwich for me for the taxi ride to Pai (which they also facilitated). The afternoon tea is delightful as is the breakfast and lunch/dinner options. Everyone is so lovely and helpful and kind. I feel truly taken care of when I’m here and am looking forward to my next visit.

Excellent two night stay in this adorable boutique hotel located inside the old city. Beds were very, very comfortable. We stayed in the heritage house jr suite and our teen daughters stayed in a deluxe king room. Both rooms were spacious and wonderful. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent!! The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and polite. I had an excellent foot massage at the spa. We also participated in two OUTSTANDING tours (Northern Highlights and Chiang Mai CityTemples). My only regret is we didn’t have time to enjoy the gorgeous pool. We would stay here again.

Arriving here after a long travel day was like seeing an oasis, the large white gates and hotel staff greeted us - taking our bags and directing us where to sign in - all in a very quiet setting (the hotel is always quiet - very little outside noises and staff/guests are considerate of the peaceful atmosphere). Extremely clean, pool was relaxing and refreshing. The grounds was like walking amongst a museum with lighting at night. We had a suite for 4 of us - two master bedrooms joined by a large comfortable living room and a private covered deck where we spent much time reading, sleeping, catching up on our jet lagged bodies. The location is at the heart of many temples and in old city, foot rubs, places to eat, and a wonderful laundry lady across the street who had our clothes cleaner than we've ever had them in 24 hours. The restaurant was elegant, quiet, dinner was accompanied by local live music which was just the right volume. When we return, we will stay here again.

A very good experience. You have to call before checking in and the owner will give you a key. The owner's sister is very nice. The only bad thing is that the site is isolated and there will be construction starting at 7:30 in the morning. If you are a person who wakes up easily, there will be construction. Highly recommended. There will be a Lotus and 711 at the intersection. There is a store nearby. There are many stalls selling wild food on the main road at night. There are 3 rooms, two toilets, and some basic cooking tools and a washing machine.

Stopped here a few times, mainly because my Thai in-laws love the place, only because it is so close to the airport. Every visit something was wrong!! Not exactly the cheapest accommodation either.The toilet would not flush in one room, the taps at the bathroom sink turned with the handles in another room. We could not sleep because of the road noise (we were on the 5th floor!) in another room. The wi-fi was non-existent in one room.There was no hot water in another room. Every room the shower trays filled up with soapy water and was very slippery; dangerous in fact. The breakfast was OK for me, nothing flash. Toast, jam, juice, tea, coffee, milo, all the basics. Not real sure why people were climbing through the window to get here though. One lady I saw scraped all the brown off her toast, so that is was just white!!?? (Something to do with Thais believing that toast causes cancer I was told). Loved the sign beside the toaster that actually worked (the other one was broken on every visit and was just sitting there collecting dust). No cancer from that one! Words to this effect: ”Please do not put butter and jam on bread before placing in toaster.” At least the beer from reception 'fridge was cheaper than most shops. Nice and cold too. Gotta love it!

We spent a few days in August in this hotel and the truth is that it was excellent value for money. The friendly and decisive staff. Location in the square of Chiang Mai, totally central. On the other hand, the room was cozy, and the pool, although logical because we are in Thailand in the north, there were a lot of mosquitoes, it was clean and the same as the room, cozy and clean. There is a kitten that is part of the hotel super funny We recommend it to spend a few days in Chiang Mai it meets the essential requirements of quality price location We would return for sure

I arrived to the hotel and on the outside it looked really nice, and the staff was very nice. The girl who checked me in thow wasn't that great to understand english, so I was lucky to speak some thai. The didn't help you with your bags up to the room, but I didn't mind because I travel with good working bags that has wheels. When I came in the room the first thing that hit me was a bad smell from the toilet. (I was given a room on the top floor 608 to be precise. The size of the room was ok, but the furniture I could see how dirty and worn down rhey where. It looked like something the bought on a fleemarket. Further on I tried the bed it was the worst matress I have ever slept on, not only that the hotel is next to a road and at night it was so noicy from traffic so I didn't get much sleep. Sometimes I woke up and thought I had a motorbike in my room. I had booked a stay for 5 nights, but after 1 night I decided to move. So after one more painful night I checked out from this hotel and will NEVER return again.

The young lady at the front desk is really good. There is no pressure on the Sino-British communication. She patiently told us how to get to the hotel by tutu, and told us about the fare to avoid being slaughtered. Not a very popular hotel, it was a little tangled to see so few reviews, it turns out that this hotel is still very good. Next to the Chiang Mai Gate, facing the main road, the appearance is better than the pictures. There are rice plantains and rambutan in the lobby that can be taken for free. It is set to be a deluxe king-size room. Although it faces the street, the room has double-glazed soundproofing, which also distinguishes the living room and bedroom space. There is a separate bath room in the room, separated from wet and dry, but the window of the bath room does not have curtains. I talked to the young lady at the front desk and helped me to block the paper. The hotel has an elevator, and there are probably four or five rooms on the inner floor. When I first arrived in the room, I noticed a little stain on the slippers and bed sheets. The front desk changed it quickly. The slippers were very comfortable. Especially worth mentioning is the breakfast. The front desk will confirm with you the breakfast the next day. There are four choices, including porridge, fresh shrimp wonton, American and Thai. The dining place is a coffee shop which is open to the outside world. It is small but beautiful. In addition to the selected set meal, there are bread, milk juice, fruit coffee tea can be taken for free, freshly ground coffee is really good.

The decoration style is indeed very Nordic, and the rooms are all decorated with green leaves. B&B style, so the basic facilities are not too complete, bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The room is very clean and hygienic as a whole, but it is difficult for Southeast Asian countries not to be bothered by mosquitoes, and occasionally you may have to be calm when you see cockroaches. A refrigerator is provided, and it is recommended that everything be eaten or put in the refrigerator. This is a piece of advice for all places to stay! Three breakfast options are provided in the morning. The best ones are assorted fruits and yogurt, as well as Thai sausages and glutinous rice balls or American breakfast. The breakfast is not as rich as the hotel buffet breakfast. The room suitable for children is one bedroom and one living room. I didn’t ask if I can add an extra bed. You can add a quilt. 50 plants per night. The hotel is outside the ancient city, it is not convenient to go out and have to call a car by yourself or ask the front desk to help. High cost performance, recommended!

We stayed at the Pingviman Hotel in Chiang Mai on our Honeymoon in December. The hotel is in the perfect location and you can access most places quite easily by foot, motorcycle, bicycle or tuk tuk. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. One of the highlights of this hotel was the concierge, Art. He helped us find some incredible activities to do, at really competitive and affordable pricing. We really enjoyed the activities he recommended for us. Something I will say is that the cleanliness could be slightly better and the rooms could use a deep clean post-Covid. Breakfast was also very basic in comparison to some of the other hotels we stayed at in Thailand. Overall is was a lovely stay and hassle-free experience and we would stay here again.

Popular room that smells a little strange I thought it had been used for a while. The bathroom is rather dark and smells a little like aquarium. The smell was disappeared after we had taken a shower and the next morning was nothing more to see, so it is mainly because of the lack of use, the hotel is really not far from the center and is perfectly walking. The breakfast was not good, the coffee was absolutely no recommender, but the beds are softer than most in Thailand, and we had no noise burden.
