Hotels Near No where in Chiang Mai

The location of the hotel is a bit far from the ancient city of Chiang Mai, but the hotel is relatively new, the rooms are clean, and the service staff are very polite. It's a pity that the hotel does not include breakfast. Breakfast is charged separately, and it is relatively expensive, and the price/performance ratio is not high. I hope that breakfast can be included in future stays.

Members of the staff were all courteous and friendly. Breakfast was okay, no brewed coffee though, there's a selection of instant coffee flavors instead. Menu for breakfast changes daily so that's good for variety's sake. The lady, who I assume is the manager, allowed me to check out at 2pm, so nice of her. A bit of an issue with the bathroom though. The flush mechanism of the toilet constantly made sound every 10 minutes or so. Woke me up in the middle of the night a few times. They were unable to get it fixed my entire 4-night stay. The hotel is literally next door to Anusarn night market. Though the hotel is nice and clean, pics on the website are way better looking. ;)

We booked 2 nights in a double room on the ground floor. Price 600 baht per night. Night market is just a stone's throw away, actually at the door! Chain restaurants such as McDonald's, Starbucks are all within walking distance from the hotel. The restaurants around the hotel are very international, including halal food. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Cable TV had many English channels to choose from. 2 bottles of drinking water were provided free of charge. There was also a small bar. Toilet was damp design so slippers were provided. Hot water in the shower was easy to control. In our room, the dresser mirror is directly facing the bed. For those superstitious people, the bed has wheels so you can push them in different directions. Looks small but superstitious people get pre-warned! Change towels and face towels daily. Rooms are also cleaned daily. The downside of this hotel is that at the moment, the kitchen/dining room is under renovation. There will be some noise during the waking hours, starting from about 8:30am. But this is not a problem as the daytime usually goes out for a tour in this place in Chiang Mai. Because the hotel kitchen is closed, it is not a comment. It is very convenient to buy breakfast from the local shops around the night city. Because the restaurant is closed, there is no place except the lobby area opposite the reception desk, you can relax and stroll around. It is 15 minutes walk to the airport. Taxi to the airport costs 150 baht. Overall, I would recommend this hotel because of its excellent location and reasonable price. Night market is nightlife in this area so not easy to get bored.

The hotel has a weird lay out. The elevator reaches only from 2nd to 4th floor. We had to carry our luggage up several flights of stairs from the first floor to reach an elevator then more hauling of our luggage to the 5th floor. The hotel is located near a main road and it was noisy throughout the night. There were no electrical outlets in the bathroom. The tiles in a bathroom were broken and cleanliness was not the hotel’s priority. We stayed only one night. And we will not be staying here again in the future

Location wise, this hotel is great. Walking to famous Sunday night market is about 10-15 minutes. Old city just nearby to access. Famous khao soi is just across the road- 4 mins away. Just outside the hotel, night market of food stalls - very good food! We liked that our family room (like an adjoined two rooms) was spacious, clean and comfortable. Everyday housekeeping and amenities replenished 👍👍. Only setback is Toilet showers was challenging- too hot and not able to control. And toilet internal wood etc need to refurbish. Overall for us a comfortable, inexpensive and strategic stay.

Good service. We booked at 8 pm and checked in really late at 1 am, but there were a few staff to assist us at the lobby. When we asked for some drinks at night, they still serviced us kindly. Really nice people. I am not a fan of loft style, so I felt the room was not clean enough

It was a good location and the room was huge. It was also nicely decorated in an old Thai style which made it a very ambient place to stay. However, it’s very dated and clearly hasn’t had any upgrades. The bathroom was horrible and while technically it has been cleaned, there was so much mould in the shower tiles and a huge section of the ceiling was mouldy as well. It was not pleasant to go there especially as it’s where you want to go to get clean.

With its abundance of trendy cafes, restaurants, and shops, there was always something new to discover just steps away from the hotel. The hotel also offers a delicious breakfast buffet with a variety of options to suit every palate. It was the perfect way to start each day of my stay. Overall, I would highly recommend Travelodge Nimman to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in Chiang Mai. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and prime location make it a top choice for travelers. I can't wait to return!

🏢 Hotel : R2 ChiangMai Choose to stay in a cozy studio type room, decorated quite cutely. Gives a cozy feeling, looks warm and comfortable. The bed cannot be moved because it is a built-in bed. It has a cute, slightly Japanese feel. Minimal. At the end of the bed, a Smart TV (Samsung Serif TV) is set up. 1 It fits the style of the room very well. And there are also chairs and a center table where we can sit and do things. -------------------------------------------- 📍Location : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The hotel is located in the area behind Chiang Mai University. Which is considered quite good. Because it's close to both food sources. and entertainment venues, convenient travel, not too far from the city -------------------------------------------- ⚡️Facilities : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The rooms have electrical appliances such as televisions, refrigerators, and water heaters. and hair dryer For guests to use | Television as a smart TV Can connect to the internet and watch Netflix, Youtube, HBO easily. But what I feel doesn't work well is the cleaning products, shower gel and shampoo that are provided in relatively small quantities😢 There is a musty smell inside the bathroom. Amazing location and great view from my balcony ! There are quite a few of cafes and restos around, walkable distance from Baangawat which is a cultural hub with young local handcraft booths and vegetarian café. Walkable distance to Wat Ram Poeng, cozy monestery with vipassana for locals and foreign visitors. Enjoyed the view from my balcony of the mountain of Doi Suthep :) enjoyed a nice dip in the pool too~ Nice neat stay with reasonable price. Thanks so much!
