Siri Village Chiang Mai

Most of the hardware facilities are good, but the trash cans in the room and toilet are too small. The overall atmosphere is great, clean and comfortable. Breakfast tastes good too. The pool is also great. The free bicycle rental service is also very good, but it is recommended to pay more attention to the brake problem. The brakes of some bicycles feel a bit loose. The location is very good, quiet and quiet. The only thing that made us uncomfortable was the attitude of the staff. I had paid all the housing payments online in advance, but I was asked to pay an additional deposit of 2,000 baht on site, which shocked us. I have stayed in so many hotels and I have never been asked to pay a deposit. Although the staff was still very polite, what we felt was insincerity and even a bit contemptuous. The staff said they were afraid that we would damage the facilities in the room, so they needed to pay a security deposit, which would be returned to us after we checked out. We still gave us 2,000 yuan, but it caused us inconvenience because we had to go directly to the airport to leave Thailand after checking out, so returning us 2,000 yuan in cash after checking out was very troublesome for us and took up time on our trip. in budget. So the next day we told the staff that please return the cash to us. We can temporarily swipe the card instead. However, when we checked out on the last day, they said that we could not swipe the money back. We need to withhold the two thousand yuan and wait for 14 days. If there is no problem It will be brushed back. We don’t understand again here. If cash can be refunded immediately, why do you have to wait 14 days to swipe a card? We understand that tourists from a certain country may have caused losses to the hotel, which led to your reaction, but it is really uncomfortable for us to face the guests with a suspicious or even contemptuous attitude. Although the staff was very polite and tried their best when explaining Keep smiling, but we can feel the insincerity and discrimination underneath the smile.

Tamarind Village

Chiang Mai Ancient City Chiang Mai|0.12km from Kad Klang Wiang
We have stayed in some fantastic hotels in Thailand (see our other reviews in April 2023), and some not so fantastic, but Tamarind Village was the best and possibly our favourite hotel we have ever stayed in, anywhere. I will list all the items that may be helpful to other travellers:- - Room is traditional style, looks amazing! - Set in a beautiful garden, with veranda - TV has a few English-speaking channels - Wifi good in rooms - A/C, TV, Minibar, Safe, Coffee/Tea making facilities etc - Large very comfortable bed The hotel and facilities:- - Located right in the centre of Chiang Mai, but feels like a world away - Staff are brilliant, very friendly, helpful and are always available. They make your stay a real pleasure - Willaiwan (Elizabeth) at reception was so warm and friendly and helpful, she also runs the daily arts and craft classes (free), she is amazing. - Also, daily walking tours (free) of Chiang Mai with Candy, she is a also terrific and really helpful, can organise tours for you, or hail a tuk-tuk or Songthaew outside (thanks for bargaining for us!) - The hotel grounds are beautiful, loads of trees, including the ancient Tamarind tree in the middle, it feels so peaceful - Pool beside restaurant and reception is so warm and never too many people there, great to relax in at the end of the day after a tour.  - Breakfast is lovely, can sit in A/C or in the courtyard by the pool This is a really, really great hotel, totally beautiful and relaxing, We will definitely stay again and would highly recommend. Cant wait to go back.

Makka Hotel

Chiang Mai Ancient City Chiang Mai|0.13km from Kad Klang Wiang
Our stay in Chiang Mai at Makka Hotel was fabulous. The staff is so friendly and humble, Bow that served us at breakfast took very good care of us with quick and efficient service, the team in the front desk always greeted with warm smiles, we remember Tian, unfortunately we don’t remember the name of the lady, but anyway all are giving amazing service. The hotel is located in the center of the old town, 15 min from airport. From there is easy to walk around and see most temples, about 10 minutes walk from the night markets and the big Sunday market is just few steps away. The area is very tranquil and quiet, the hotel is beautifully designed with mostly open areas and a well maintained garden. It felt like being in nature even in the center of the town. We really loved how peaceful it was, the background music was so calming. Our room was a suite on the upper floor (only ground and first floor), not many units, just as we like. It was spacious and with all the comforts. What we really liked is that you have to leave your shoes in a cabinet downstairs marked with your room number to access the rooms area, slippers are provided but we preferred going around barefoot as floors are so clean you can mirror yourself. Hardwood dark floors and Thai style design. Breakfast was served a la Carte with mainly Asian choices which is what you should enjoy when visiting an Asian country, but also cereals, fresh fruits and English breakfast were available. We will be back to Thailand and to Chiang Mai that we loved, definitely will choose again Makka Hotel for our stay! Thank you all!

Chiang Mai Ancient City
Hotel location is good, bed and breakfast style, high cost performance. It only takes a few minutes to walk to Chaidilong Temple or Taipei Gate, opposite is the spa, breakfast is a bit simple, the individual waiter at the front desk is a bit bad, the rooms are too few to be booked, and I have been charged several times for reservations. Do not come for groups, only suitable for 2-4 people travel accommodation.

Went to stay for the first time, okay, good, quiet, good, in the center of the city, close to many tourist attractions. The hotel is clean, good, calm, like the bathroom very much. There is a mirror around the bathroom, very good. 10 10 10

Chiang Mai Ancient City
Before and after, I lived in this house for a total of eight days. The location is good, not far in the ancient city, in a small alley, quiet in the noisy. On the first floor is a coffee shop, a single room, a double room, a triple room (reformed from a double bed room and a single room, so there are two toilets) and a shared quadruple room. There are a lot of mosquitoes on the first floor. On the first day, the boss arranged both rooms on the first floor for the convenience of our children. The adults were bitten into hornet nests. The second floor is a quadruple room (only one bathroom, with a refrigerator, and a closet as partition in the middle) and a triple room (a bathroom, with a toilet as a partition in the middle and a refrigerator). The environment on the second floor is much better. Breakfast is not provided, but there are bread, bananas, instant coffee on the first floor, and there is a refrigerator and some heating tools. The lady boss is beautiful and can only communicate in English

The hotel is excellent, as it is close to several important temples in the city. The rooms are large, but here we start with the ”but”. The rooms are very comfortable and the rooms are very warm and you can finish with the rooms. The haircut is not a good solution for the haircut. There is also a boxer missing to keep your things, because despite the fact that there is a box, everything is out of the air, and sincerely, the cleaner lady sees my things I don't like. The room was very comfortable and was very comfortable and very comfortable. The rooms are clean and clean and the rooms are clean and clean. There is also a washing service, bicycle rental and bar service but only up to 17h. It has a very recommended salt water pool if you are in warm time. In the end, if you're going to spend a few days without many luxury and at an affordable price this is your place if I don't recommend it.

The homestay is very new and beautiful. Our three- and one-person stays are good, and the landlord's service is also very good. There are too many mosquitoes. I have been bitten by a lot of mosquito coils. I hope the landlord can find a way to solve this problem. The rest are very satisfied. It is very suitable for a large family, and the surrounding area is also very convenient. Next time I come to Chiang Mai, if there are fewer mosquitoes, I will still book this one! Ha ha

Chiang Mai Ancient City
We spent a few days in August in this hotel and the truth is that it was excellent value for money. The friendly and decisive staff. Location in the square of Chiang Mai, totally central. On the other hand, the room was cozy, and the pool, although logical because we are in Thailand in the north, there were a lot of mosquitoes, it was clean and the same as the room, cozy and clean. There is a kitten that is part of the hotel super funny We recommend it to spend a few days in Chiang Mai it meets the essential requirements of quality price location We would return for sure
