Hotels in Chiang Mai Ancient City, Chiang Mai

We booked to stay in Momo hotel because of its central location in the heart of Chiang Mai old town. Convenient shop, café, local eateries, ATM machine, massage & shopping shop are just stone throw away. Tourist attraction such as Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Phra Singh & Wat Phantao and most importantly the Sunday Night Market is just walking distance from the hotel! Besides, the pool in the hotel is just perfect to chill & relax after a long day exploring around the old city. On the other hand, downside would be the small lift & luggage storage area, squeaky bed (only for our room) and a bar/café corner that seems not operation. Overall it was a great stay and experience staying in Momo hotel.

This place has the perfect location dead center of the old city. The rooms are very clean with super comfortable beds, pillows and blankets. A/C works efficiently and cools the room quickly. We booked the family room and the double room, which was perfect for my family of 8. The bathrooms were very large with hot water, shampoo, soap and shower gel. There is a mini fridge, safe, umbrellas, with complimentary coffee and water each day in the rooms. Television has many local and movie channels. The free wifi works very fast and steady. The staff are exceptionally friendly and work hard to accommodate your requests and provide very useful information. Anu, the housekeeper, is amazing. He is attentive and has a good sense of humor. If you have a late arrival, send the hotel a message beforehand because they lock the front door. If you arrive and nobody is there, call Anu at +66832998047. If you speak slowly, he will understand you. Kittikorn, the general manager, was also extremely friendly and helpful. The big red taxis drive right up to the hotel. No need to call for one. There's usually one every minute. The restaurant has a good menu. We didn't eat there because we just wanted to eat street food until we couldn't walk anymore. The Sunday market opens up directly in front of the hotel and is an amazing experience. Plenty of delicious street food, clothing and souvenirs at cheap prices in every direction. We're definitely staying here again, when we come back!

We got the family room, which was absolutely nothing like the beautiful, modern rooms in the main hotel, which the couple we were traveling with had and enjoyed. It was quite the opposite. Our room was in a connected building with a dark, shabby, un-attended entry. Simple railroad-style rooms were separated by curtains only, so parents have to walk through kids’ room to access the bathroom. The bathroom is oddly large and institutional, all tan and tile with stalls for multiple toilets and showers, reminiscent of a dorm. At night, bright lights shine through the windows all along one side of the room, even around the curtains — glass was frosted and windows unopenable. The room’s lounge area was not remotely comfortable for hanging out in. We still had access to the pool in the main hotel, but it is very, very small. And the cafe serving the little tables near it was never open (bring-your-own situation was fine, however). Good location and staff was kind. But for the price we paid and what the website showed/misrepresented, we expected much nicer.

A 5 stars boutique hotel located in old town, very convinence👍 Right in front is the walking street/ open market on Sunday. There is a school opposite to the hotel. Its rather noisy in the morning as my room is facing to the school, however trouist like us usually wake up early so no big deal. All snackssss/drinksss in the mini bar are free👍👍 includes cokes, beers, 6 bottles of water, lemon tea, chipsss, chocolate. 😅 😁 Afternoon tea by the pool is free too! Very good for those who want to relax in the hotel Staffs are very friendly👍👍

Hotel a bit dated could do with a revamp. Breakfast bit limited. Pool very small and cold. Location not bad from main night bazaar.

That day was my weekend that I wanted to escape the hustle and bustle from Bangkok, so I took the train to chill. When I arrived, I took a red car to the hotel. Staff raised hands to pay homage The head almost stuck on the ground, the service is very good, serving sweet water like eh .. It's hot and refreshed. Said that the customer stayed in room 700, I was shocked. Hey, there are 7 floors or not. Go up to the room is very wow, big room, double bed and see Doi Suthep view, not 360 but 180, very impressed. Sleep and rest in the evening.. Come down to the office, where is street food in Chiang Mai? Phong recommends to tell the way in a very friendly way. Cheap and good hotel, quiet location. The double bed is oversized and may be bigger than the king size. Neat and clean, plenty of space. The counter waiter is very kind and the English is good. Note: there is no elevator, you must take the stairs. In addition, the shower pressure is average.

The location is near to the malls. It’s also clean and daily housekeeping. The staffs are also approachable. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and also a walking distance 7 Eleven. Must try!! Nice hotel, great room fine beds. We had 3 rooms 3 nights for €250. We were positively surprised. ' s Morning a delicious and royal breakfast for 100 baths. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We wanted to use the wb travels, but we were short and we were noticed until the last day. Pride elephant trip made see review and sticky waterfalls. We will certainly come back to Chiang Mai and also to this hotel.

Nature Boutique Hotel was great for me. Its quite new so facilities for the budget price are good. I took a double room, but there are also twins for the same price and cheaper dorms.I got my room very reasonably on Agoda..cheaper than booking directly at the hotel. The rooms are small and simple but have everything you need. A fridge, tea & coffee making, good bed and shower. Glass bottled water and fresh towels are given daily. Rooms are very clean. You need to request cleaning if you want more than every 3 days. Just ask at reception. The location in the old town is excellent with everything i needed within walking distance. There's a market at the end of the road, 7 eleven close by and lots of restaurants, tour booking and massage places around. I enjoyed visiting several wats in the area too. Also plenty of red taxi vans to go further afield. Staff are friendly and helpful. All in all a great place at an excellent price, I extended my stay and was there 2 weeks. As a solo I always felt safe and comfortable.
