Within the city wall of the north gate, there are no rooms if you arrive at twelve o'clock and you have to check in at two o'clock. I left my luggage and went out for a walk. There were many bags and boxes, and there were no luggage tags or anything. When I came back, the guy at the front desk had a good memory and went upstairs directly with my two bags. The room was quite big, but a mosquito bit me on the first night!

This is a unique hotel. The trees in the inner area make it like a forest in the middle of the desert. There were some small issues, there were mosquitos in the room, there was a fair amount of noise filtering into the room, and their laundry service lost some of my clothes. The restaurant is only open for breakfast.

Lovely, clean rooms. Amazing social area, feels like you’re in the jungle. Very peaceful and characterful! A lovely young man called Nick looked after us, got to know us by name and was genuinely the nicest guy we have met in Thailand! Which is saying something because Thai people are great. Highly recommend this place.

One of the best accommodation I had in Vietnam, in my two weeks visit. friendly staff, fridge with beer at the reception, big bathroom and overall very clean. Aldo there is the parking lot for the moped that is a good idea to rent. They also serve a very good breackfast

This is a great cafe on Chang Pheuk gate of the walled old city of Chiang Mai. It has a lovely outdoor seating overlooking the busy road and moat and Chang Pheuk gate as well as a great garden outdoor seating behind the guest house (yes they also run a lovely guest house). Indoor air conditioned seating is there too. Food is good, from breakfast to main course meals - both Thai and western. Coffee is good too. Best asset is the staff of Mountain View. Very helpful and warm and hospitable, Lovely maintained plants and water fountains

Quiet and verdant guesthouse with an internal courtyard where you can have breakfast. Large and clean room, possibility to have a coffee in the room. Good location for the old town and very close to the night market for dinner. Also close to the Songtaew starting point for Wat Suthat Doi Suthep Helpful staff.
