Facilities: The houses are all wooden structures and traditional style. The swimming pool is not big, but who wouldn’t want to take a dip in a pool surrounded by plants? The hotel has its own restaurant - it is a vegetarian restaurant, you can try it. When you wake up in the morning, you can order a cup of coffee in the restaurant and drink it by the pool. Isn’t that nice? ? ?
Hygiene: Clean! I especially like that the cleaning staff in Thai hotels take off their shoes and enter the room to clean!
Environment: This hotel is so beautiful, allowing plants to grow freely, and the paradise grass is taller than the buildings.
Service: The hotel staff is very friendly!
Price: It was more than 300 when I ordered it. It feels like you can’t live anywhere in China with more than three hundred people! This one is so worth it!
Terrain: Very convenient! There are many restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops around. Don’t worry about going to the old town, because Chiang Mai is fine on foot~ (I mean the central location)

Our stay at Shewe Wana Boutique hotel was wonderful. It’s in a quirky older building with every bit yard full of exotic plants. It has two swimming pools ( one medium, one small, neither are heated). The staff are wonderful, they are friendly and helpful, wishing to make their guests as comfortable as possible, including catering for my gluten-free food requirements. The hotel is beside a busy- ish road about 15 minutes walk from town. The ambience of the hotel is quiet and relaxing ( it was truly quiet at night), the beds are comfortable, and I especially appreciated the mosquito nets over the beds. I would definitely return to Shewe Wana hotel.

Shewe Wana Boutique Hotel is a true hidden gem in Chiang Mai! The staff and owner are incredibly kind and accommodating, making my stay feel so special. Its location is perfect, just a short walk from Phae Gate, yet it feels like an oasis amidst the busy streets. The enclosed rooms, lush greenery, and lovely pools create a peaceful retreat. Celebrating the New Year countdown here was magical. Highly recommend this charming hotel for its exceptional service and serene ambiance!

I was visiting Chiang May in December 2024. Hotel is excellent; very clean, nice personal, excellent location, great internet. Breakfast was beyond expectations. Definitely would recommend this hotel and I will come back again.

We choose Shewe Wana for it's location for an easy walk from the Chiang Mai train station. We had a very nice stay and are recommending Shewe Wana to friends and family. Staff were all awesome and helpful We had a room on the top floor (22), overlooking the pool It was large and clean. Breakfast was generous and lovely Plenty of places to eat local outside with street carts and restaurants. Supermarket very close also.

Very clean and well-kept hotel. But the best thing without a doubt are the workers (who I think are a family) From the moment we arrived they were very attentive to us and when we had to get up early for the excursions they made us take away breakfast. But what really surprised us was their hospitality, we were unlucky in that we experienced the worst rain in the last 10 years and Chiang Mai is completely flooded, possibly we could have missed the flight the next day since we couldn't get out but it was family broke the wall that they made throughout the afternoon to prevent water from entering their business (hotel) to take us to the airport, thus causing their entire premises to fill with water and as if that were not enough, there were about 10 hours left until our flight They took us to a 4-star airport hotel and paid for a room so we could sleep that night. The whole family got into the car and accompanied us. We will be eternally grateful since people like this are really very difficult to find in this world, we will always remember this gesture and we will try to get in touch to thank them.

We stayed in this boutique hotel for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. Kate and her colleagues at the reception were extremely helpful booking (and changing..) tours for us. On our last day they booked us a driver/ guide instantly to go to see some nice temples outside Chiangmai. Nice rooms with great service from everyone. Highly recommended!
