I felt conflicted about this hotel at the beginning, but then it grew on me and I actually extended. The main reason I was not impressed at the beginning was the noise (bar next door, planes overhead, street noise, snoring from room below, people in hallway) but after a few nights I actually got used to the noises and it’s mostly quiet after midnight. I also thought the room was a bit run down (holes in the curtains, stains on the sofa, broken appliances…) but for the price it’s very comfortable and clean. The photos also show nice views of mountains, but this is not the case for most rooms (I was told the 6-8th floor is not available). The staff are super friendly, genuine and helpful. The bed is comfortable and the room is big enough to do my own workouts and has a little table and chairs for dining. Nice shower with good water pressure for my long, thick hair. Also has a little bathtub. There is a little kitchenette, which I was hoping to use; unfortunately, the burners don’t work and they don’t have cooking supplies. The pool is small, but lovely and I have enjoyed relaxing there (despite many flies). TV is nice to have and didn’t work at first, but they fixed it right away for me when I asked. Breakfast is basic, but sufficient in a pinch. Overall, in comparison to what’s available in the area - it’s a good deal. It’s also very close to the mall and the trendy area where I can meet my friend at cafes or bars. Nice little balcony as well (very strictly can’t smoke there). There is a quaint little patio area outside though. I feel this hotel just needs more attention to details. Thanks Cmor! I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.
