We were really happy to stay here. Its cozy and frendly hotel. The room was clean and big. If we come to Chiangmai we will stay in Gategaa Village again.

My favorite boutique hotel in Chiang Mai! The breakfast is definitely the highlight. It is also very close to markets like San Pa Koi for great local food.

The room is generally OK in Chiang Mai, but it is not worth the price compared to Hotel Loy. The hotel has no waiter to help with luggage, no elevator to go up and down the stairs, very few breakfast options, no disposable toothpaste and toothbrush, no 24-hour service, and the room bedding is old and stained. The waiter always seems to avoid you. On the first day, the reception sign was blocked by the car and I searched for the check-in place for a long time. The waiter didn't come out and just looked at me inside. Although the hotel is located at the junction of the ancient city, it is not convenient to travel. There is basically no food within 500 meters, and 7-11 is nearly 1 km away.

The hotel is small and cozy, located relatively close to the city center in a quiet side street. True, not the cleanest in Chiang Mai, but not the dirtiest and gloomiest. There is a small swimming pool on the roof of one of the buildings. Quite green area, excellent patio. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the city center.
Good breakfasts. Variety is minimal, but delicious. There are set lunches of both European and Asian types. Asian ones are naturally tastier. The size of these complexes is amazing when you see it for the first time))).
The quality of cleaning could have been a little better - in the last photo the sole of the slippers, which were used exclusively inside the room, on the second day.
Special mention should be made of the staff. Yes, this is not the Ritz-Carlton. But they will always help you, answer your question, resolve the situation, etc. They are very kind and friendly. The feeling of being among friends or at home.
In general, the impressions are very positive. But wet cleaning is worth thinking about.

The staff at the counter speak good English and are friendly, so communication is no problem. There is free tea and snacks and biscuits in the lobby.
The one-bedroom suite we stayed in was very nice, with a kitchenette and an open-air bathtub. I thought it had a high value for money and was a very cute room type.
I can’t say whether the location is good or not, because I rented a motorcycle locally, but most people would think it’s a bit remote.
Breakfast is to choose a type of egg dish, with bacon, sausage, lettuce, etc., and then there are some buffet bars with few choices and not very delicious, but it seems that there is no option to skip breakfast when booking a room
