We stayed in a riverside room with a stunning view. The resort has a unique charm — blending Thai elements with tranquility in a beautifully balanced way. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Compared to other hotels in the area, the breakfast here was quite good.
One downside: the bathroom roof design can be slightly inconvenient during the rainy season.
This resort is perfect for couples and families. However, it might not be ideal for elderly guests, as the walkways lack handrails.

Overall, I was impressed with the view. However, if you are bringing an adult with you, you should ask the hotel if the room requires a lot of walking. The accommodation we got required a long walk up a mountain. The path was quite steep and difficult. Luckily, the bag was small and someone carried it for us. I really admire the person who carried the bag.

Rai Saeng Arun is an excellent hotel, and had very nice cats! Their food is locally sourced, and I loved the views of the Mekong! I would also like to add that they had a really nice park and playground! But please be aware of the cold weather and outdoor shower.

Good stay
Very nice stay. We got one of the three bungalows directly at the Mekong. The other bungalows were up the hill. Impossible to get up when you are a bit older. 165 steps. The food was good and fresh from the garden. Unfortunately the kitchen is closing at 5 PM which is a bit early for dinner. This was for us a big downside as we stayed three nights. There is no safe in the room.Absolutly great view over the Mekong. Hotel room is a bit overpriced. It was a great stay for us.

The remoteness and gorgeous scenery made this a special stay. The 165 steep steps up the hill were totally worth it!! This is the rainy season and you’re really in nature so it shouldn’t be a surprise but there were lots of dead and living ants so if you’re squeamish about ants, just be warned. We loved our stay, though!

Awesome place at the banks of the Mekong. The area is so vast you can get lost a whole day. The villas riverside a wonderfully decorated, with outside relaxing area and a very comfy bed. Dinner is early but excellent. Very nice people add to the great experience. We'll be back
