Chiangkhan River Mountain Resort

Remote from village but quiete, well managed older property with atmosphere, infinity pool and wonderful sunset. The is a typical Thai Hotel on the countryside: even it doesn't look like it's more a booth construction than concrete walls (no noise isolation to outside, neighbours). Also it shows its age (potenially from 1990ies). However a itwasn't fully booked in late October so we could really enjoy this place with atmophere and a great sunset. Breakfast mainly for Asian (Thai) customers but this is everywhere on those remote from mass tourism places. Absolutely recommended for reasonable rates 1300-1500 THB (oldschool Thailand experience). First of all, the brother who takes care of the capsule takes good care of it. Very friendly And the air capsule is very cool, the water flows strongly near the walking street at the end of the alley near 7-11 near the breakfast shop When returning, he came to send it to the car. Accommodation is loft style. And my luck is to stay alone in the whole hotel. It's like renting a hotel to sleep. It's calm, not busy. Finally, I recommend staying here. Very good.
Chiangkhan River Green Hill

We went there intending to camp, but when we got there we found that the tents had no toilet facilities. If you need a private bathroom, you should be careful when choosing a camping room. After communicating with the front desk, we changed to an RV (according to the front desk's description, only RVs have independent showers and toilets). In fact, RVs are also a brand new accommodation experience, but with it comes the fact that there is no sound insulation, and all the noise and movement outdoors will be transmitted to the sleeping place (the sound and vibration of the air conditioner, the chirping of insects and birds outdoors, passing vehicles, etc.). If you have a demand for a good sleeping environment, please be careful. Of course, for those who really like camping, these are the feelings they are looking for. This hotel is suitable for lower temperatures. At this time of year, it is too hot, 40° during the day and 30° at night. The outdoor daytime and night views are very good, and it is suitable for traveling with a car, after all, it is still a few kilometers away from the city.

- Minimal hotel, beautiful, soft bed, cold air conditioner, a bit narrow room - The hotel entrance has only one way traffic, parking is in another alley. When checking out, a car was parked blocking the exit, so it took almost 20 minutes to drive out. I called the hotel 5-6 times but no one answered. I had to walk around back to the hotel again. Then the staff followed the car owner to move it for me. - Not impressed with the breakfast. I got a coupon. The restaurant I went to eat at was almost at the end of the walking street. There were a lot of people. The set said that I would get rice soup, fried dough sticks, coffee, but I only got rice soup. The restaurant said I had to pay extra for everything else. I sat next to the restaurant. The smell was not good. - Amenities in the room include a TV, air conditioner, bed, small refrigerator, 4 bottles of water, soap, shampoo, shower cap, slippers. There is no dressing table. There is only one mirror in the bathroom. If there are only two of us, we have to wait to put on makeup in the bathroom. It takes a long time. It is not very convenient. - The space in the room is very narrow. You have to walk slowly or your knees will hit the edge of the TV counter when you get on the bed. There is no view to see, but it is close to the walking street. - The staff provided good service and were helpful throughout.

Great experience at the SongPhuaMia guesthouse. Entrance is right in the walking street, one of the main attraction of Chiang Khan. The house itself is a traditional Thai house, renovated, very clean and well taken care of. The hosts are very professional, friendly can detail oriented. They will go beyond their duty to make your stay a great one. Special note for the breakfast which absolutely amazing and it will be an highlight of your stay there! All in all, the best choice in Chiang Khan!

We booked 4 rooms with the gang. I sleep alone and I have dyed hair. But in the bathroom, there is still black hair near the bathroom door. I'm not sure if the cleanup is not in time or what, but it's not an obstacle. I just feel that it shouldn't be there. The location is very close to the market. The room is not big. The usable area is small. It's really suitable for sleeping only. The water flows strongly. The light is normal. There is no glass bathroom door between the shower and the toilet (but there is a glass wall). The TV signal is not very good, so I didn't turn it on. But the Wi-Fi is very strong. I took my laptop to watch a movie. The staff provided good service. They called at 11 am to inform that the housekeeper would come to clean at 11:30. It's good that we made an appointment to check out at this time. If we really checked out at noon, I'm not sure if there would be a problem (the system said check out at 12:00). And for the breakfast coupon, I didn't have time to use it because the restaurants in that area will have a break during the day and open again in the evening. If I checked out at 11:30, I wouldn't be able to eat in time. For those who want to use this privilege, I recommend waking up early to eat.
