Wonderful hotel for a great value. Very friendly staff who were there to greet us and make breakfast for us in the morning, excellent food for breakfast, great location near all the key sights of Tuscany, a nice view, comfortable room with great AC, and nice grounds. I will stay here again for sure next time I visit Tuscany.

We stayed in this lovely agriturismo in September. We were here for a walking holiday in Tuscany. We were met by Simon who checked us in and a welcome drink. Our room was superb and had a large balcony which overlooked the vineyard and the beautiful town of Chianciano Terme. That evening we were treated to the first of the dinners that were included in our stay. All the produce is either grown on site or local to the area. The breakfasts were very nice and I must say the omelettes were superb. We met Stefano the owner and he was brilliant in helping to organise our walks with a walking app which we followed. In the evening he was present at dinner and if you didn't like a particular item on the menu he would offer an alternative. He was also helpful in suggesting restaurants on our walks as well as things to see and visit. The weather was very hot at about 32- 33 degrees so he was very good with another group of people who were older in shortening their walks to make it easier for them. The main town is walkable but on an incline as its up on a hill. Pienza is another beautiful town as is Montepulciano. I must also thank his staff who were brilliant-Salman and the girls at breakfast too. Would thoroughly recommend this place to stay if you are walking or cycling. Very central hotel, a stone's throw from the thermal baths of Montepulciano, parking on the street, in front of the entrance, lift for those with heavy suitcases, with the family management of a very close-knit ”hotel team”, exceptional welcome and all staff very friendly at all levels, Free and fast WiFi, large, bright, quiet, very clean room, new furniture, new and modern bathroom, new air conditioning, very efficient and silent, we recommend dinner in the own restaurant with a pre-choice of 3-4 local specialities, perfectly cooked, impeccable presentation of dishes, very good wine from own production, and a large choice of homemade desserts for the breakfast Unbeatable value for money - there are not enough stars for the rating! The maximum rating seen on the internet is true and absolutely confirmed. For sure, we will come back with the first chance, with friends and recommend the same to everyone. I chose this hotel while looking for a structure the ferragosto garden that had no exorbitant costs and was close to the term, the choice was back to Saturn hotel, excellent price and above all I was affected by the reviews We were welcomed by Mr. Frizzi with gentleness and professionality, the hotel is 5 minutes walk from the bus station and the hotel is easily parked in front of the facility, the Terms of Tehia are about 3 km away. The very clean room with original 70s furniture in good condition and functional, very comfortable bed, very clean bathroom, wide shower without problems with rubenettes, clean and soft handcuffs and fabrics, There is no air conditioning but there is a pale, silent and efficient ventilation at the ceiling. Breakfast served in a comfortable room, there was a variety of sweets made at home, cakes, crowns, coughs and cookies, the manager follows breakfast by preparing cappuccinos and coffee etc ... We recommend it as it is a good structure organised and clean, well positioned, although not an innovative and latest fashion structure, ideal for the term stays and for excursions in Val d'Orcia.

We really enjoyed our four days here. The welcome was friendly - though we had to wait for the room to be ready. The room was large (very large for an Italian hotel), well-furnished and comfortable overlooking the garden and breakfast gazebo. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom good. It was a very hot few days - we went out each morning to nearby towns of interest - Monticchiello, Pienza, Montepulciano, Città delle Pieve, Panicale ... and came back to the hotel after lunch. At 4.00 we went to the pool - which was large, clean and well set up, pettily sited in the garden with Tuscan hills as a backdrop. We had booked half-board, so had breakfast and dinner at the hotel (in the Taverna, where the food and service was very good). Really a great break.

We stayed in room 23 – this one had a separate sitting area, and was lovely – large and spacious. It was very clean and the bed linens were nice. There’s a small fridge and safe in the room. The TV in the sitting area could be a bit bigger, and the wifi needs an upgrade, but otherwise, it was very comfortable. Bathroom was nice and well-equipped, although the lighting could be brighter. Breakfast was very good: eggs, cold cuts, cheese, selection of cereal, toast, jams, pancakes (some days), croissants and other baked goods, juice, and of course coffee. We also had dinner here 4 out of 5 nights – very good, but pricey. It was nice to not have to drive somewhere else for dinner. The staff are amazing here – very professional and helpful. The pool area was lovely – lots of chairs and umbrellas available, and the pool itself was clean. Even though the days were warm, the water was too cold for swimming in October 😊 The whole complex is beautiful and we could see ourselves staying here for a couple of months, wandering through vineyards and olive groves! If you have a chance to go, attend the vineyard tour and wine-tasting (it was done very well – low-key and about 1 hour, which was perfect). La Sovana is also well situated to visit many of the other notable towns in Tuscany and Umbria: Siena, Assisi, Orvieto, Montepulciano, etc. Overall, we loved this place and would go back for sure.

Structure in the historic centre of Pienza, from an old monastery, service and top-top reception, should only be equipped with some rooms with a 4-star accessory (kit courtesy, But for the rest, it is a nice place. The swimming pool with a wonderful view, a restaurant with customer service and care at the highest levels (good to all the boys and the owner) even if used for a dish, a fantastic breakfast with so many local products. To return absolutely.
