I booked this hotel through Ctrip online payment. The front desk didn't know how to operate Ctrip's deduction on the night of check-in, so I had to pay the room fee myself before I could check in. At the same time, the front desk promised to refund my self-paid room fee in cash after the hotel successfully deducted the money the next morning. The staff on the second day said that the cash could not be refunded, and it could only be returned to my card by the same route, and it could not be refunded at that time, but only on the third day. On the third day, the hotel informed me that it would take 15 days to refund the bank card. In short, it was very active when collecting money, but it was very difficult to refund. I was charged a tax even though I do live in the US, they said my US passport and my US drivers license was not valid in Colombia and I needed to have some other documentation from immigration authorities. They even asked me for a copy of an utility bill to demonstrate that I live in the US.
Also, the AC at our room did not work, and the answer was that they cannot fix the temperature because of high utility bill.

This property is unique because have an unique and modern design. The rooms are small but comfy and cosy. I loved it and definitely highly recommend it.

I recently stayed at Ibis Chia and was clean and offered a good breakfast along with consistent hot water. However, the mattress was very hard, which made for an uncomfortable sleeping experience. Overall, while the hotel had several positive aspects, the mattress issue was a significant drawback.

The rooms are extremely small with no ironing board, no iron, no phone in the room, no trash cans in the room, the night stands very small. The room is very uncomfortable with no space to accommodate your stuff.
The employees are extremely nice David, Miguel and Mary are the best with great customer service skills 👏👏👏👏 they go beyond expectations to provide you with your needs

The front desk took my card about 4 times to have a card on record and then at 4 AM when I had to leave they said I hadn't paid. Isn't that what a card for incidentals is for?

The hotel is very nice. I also felt that the area is good but a difficult feat if you want to cross the street. The only thing I thought was very wrong is that on Sunday there were a lot of people at the breakfast bar and there was only one person taking care of everybody. Poor Carlos, he was running around like a chicken without a head. Trying to please all the costumers, there were no forks, spoons, water, napkins, the food was running out and everyone wanted something from him. On Monday the restaurant wasn’t as full and there were 4 people working and helping the customers. I think it deserves better planning. Other than that all was very good.
